Hope that's not true, really would like to see one more Scarecrow scene
Scarecrow courtroom scene sounds like something the Joker possibly would have done if Ledger were still alive.
It's no substitution, really, because it doesn't fit Scarecrow's MO very well. It's not really a perfect fit for The Joker, but that's qualified by the fact that he is totally random and does whatever he likes. Two Face seems like the obvious choice for an evil judge.
I wonder how they'd wrap up Scarecrow's story? If he's doing these trials without Bane's knowledge, and Bane finds out, there could be some serious payback.

You know now that I think about it, there's something I didnt understand the first time I watched TDK. At the end of Scarecrow's cameo, Batman growls:
"Don't let me find you out here again."
Crane replies: "Not in my diagnosis"
So back in BB, when Batman gave him a "taste of his own medicine", that sort of "programmed" Crane's mind to be obsessed with Batman and try to help in a twisted sort of way? Lol I feel a bit dull right now if I just now realized that but whatever![]()

ANYWAY, on the topic of an appearance in TDKR: I say yes, but only in moderation. The character list is already crowded enough as it is, with at least 3 new major players being introduced (Catwoman, Bane, "Talia").
Like someone said before me, maybe there could be a scene where Batman travels to Arkham for information and interrogates Crane. Also, there is that court scene in the MTV footage that people were talking about, I think it would be cool if Crane presided over some of the kangaroo courts, just to illustrate Gotham's descent into madness and chaos.
He should be caught while trying to crack open an ATM, if we're staying consistent with his progress through these movies.
yeah. I love Scarecrow and wish his character had been given more to do, but it's too late now, another cameo would just be pointless. I was hoping that by this film Gotham would be a kind of playground for loonies, with the various villains showing up here and there in bit parts, but I think that ship has sailed, so there's really no reason to bother.
