No one has ever made that joke before... Oh wait...

No joke, I'm curious why they're not doing anything about it.

Male pattern baldness is a progressive illness. It's only going to look worse if he doesn't get treatment.

Superman can't be bald.

Superman can't be bald.

I'm pretty sure they'll actually have to convince him to wear a hair-piece at some point over the next few years, if he doesn't take action on it himself.

Sean Connery was actually bald through most of his James Bond years.

I've got some serious expectations management to get done, after waiting for 3 years on this movie fawning over every little "scoop" and "rumor."

And to think JL will be done and out within 1 year... what the hell.

Didn't know that about Sean Connery !

Deeper sigh ...

Do you in any honesty actually believe this is an issue in a world where bald and balding film and TV actors have used hair pieces for DECADES? Is this concept foreign to you?

As for Superman not being bald... Uh, please Google Chris Reeve's hair pieces before you put forth such silly conclusions again.

Follicle transplants. He's got the money for it.

As long as he doesn't go to Travolta's hair guy

Trailer reactions depend very much on where you live.

Audience members letting everybody else know how they feel is very much an American phenomenon. I nearly never saw it in Canada or Australia.

It probably varies a lot within the USA.

That's true. Like I said earlier, I thought it was weird it got no reaction since I was with an audience made up mostly undergrad kids who were going to watch Deadpool, which got plenty of reactions from them. Even the trailer for that one Zac Efron film got reactions. I thought the last trailer was the perfect kind to play to such a crowd.

Maybe they're going for the Curt Swan style.

Thing is if most people save their head your hairlines further back than you think. When you have more volume the hair grows over the front anyway.

If you have a decent volume of hair go ahead just push your hair up with your hand and you'll see what I mean,

They will paste a wig on him, so who cares...

Guys.....can we please talk about something else?

Allow me to shift the discussion. Concerning the marketing, I feel its been all over the place. As amp'd up as I am for the film, I feel the only thing the trailers and promotion have manage to get people to get around on is the Affleck casting. I feel they've failed to convey the conflict between Batman and Superman to be organic and compelling, while failing to convince people Jessie's Lex is a worthy antagonist. The 2nd trailer just mangled the narrative they were selling with a ton of crazy editing and comical tone.

For me, they've done a better job of selling the film through all the anecdotal stuff said from people within the production, and folks close to people within the production. That said, most people don't fish for that kind of stuff so it matters little in the grand scheme of things.

I'm confident this film will be better than alot of people are expecting, but the marketing isn't helping my case.

I agree with you, Val_Zod, the movie's called "Batman vs. Superman" but WB is selling this as more of "Dawn of Justice Justice League." WB is sending mixed messages as to what this movie's really about. Is it about two legends going head to head or is it about them joining forces with Wonder woman against Lex Luthor and Doomsday?

I mean, look, I am beyond amped for this movie and everything I'm seeing so far indicates that I'm going to get the grand scale, epic, balls to the wall superhero team-up film I've always wanted to see. But even I have to admit that the focus seems to be a little all over the place.

Well folks have been really excited about seeing Wonder Woman in all the promotions, so any type of positive hype building ain't bad. :yay:

This is basically how I feel about this movie. I'm still hyped about it, but this marketing campaign is a mess, imo. It feels completely unfocused... every trailer has a different tone and feel. I really don't like it.

Man of Steel had far superior marketing. Trailer 3 was the best trailer I've ever seen.
