He's taken from the city before Bane blows up the Football field and initiates Martial Law.

One thing that did annoy me is this, after Bruce escapes from the Prison (Climbs the wall) he gets out into day light and the next thing he's clean shaven and showing up on the streets of Gotham after Selina saves the kid with the apple. No explanation of how he got back with no money or anything.

Wait, are you sure that's exactly what transpires? I remember Scoop or Shape having a different explanation to a similar question.

Wow, that's quite short. I thought it was at least a lingering scene or something like that.

I'm guessing it's a case of just leaving it to the audience to imagine what they want.

:yay:

Bale: Chris! Chris! You're f**kin' telling me that Ima get to sleep with Talia and then tongue and feel up Catwoman?!

Nolan: Christian... we've been over this. Bruce Wayne is gonna do that. And yes.

Bale: Nolan, don't you screw me on this! I had to kiss Katie and pretend to love Maggie!
:lmao:

I will admit that I am disappointed
in the direction they went with Talia. I knew there was always the possibility but it still stings. But the comics have also trashed the character. So I guess I shouldn't be too surprised. I'm not really, but it does sting.

Yes I am sure. After Bane has defeated Batman he blows up the ceiling above them and down crash's one of the tumblers and he tells Bruce that he is going to take over Gotham using his (Bruce's) weapons. Then we get a shot of Bruce being dragged through a desert, then he wakes up with Bane looking over him in the cell.

Wait, I just read in that review that the US president makes an appearance in Gotham. Is Obama in DKR? ha ha ha

This, lol.

And seeing your username reminds me...speaking of relationships screwed up by creative teams, I'm still wondering why Paul Dini canned the potential Bruce/Zee relationship, lol

Not sure if you've already answered this, but do you mind sharing something in regards to Alfred?
I assume he leaves Bruce after that fight where they discuss Rachel? (When he reveals her choice and the letter??) And then after that we don't see Alfred again until the end at Bruce's 'grave' and then the cafe nod bit?

I know... me too. I'll never give up hope though. Bruce/Zee all the way FOR ME. :hrt:

I think I made it clear before that I was a Bruce/Zatanna shipper. Nice to see there are a few others on here who love the idea of them together too.

Haha the president does make an appearance in a Press Conference and says that the people of Gotham are not alone. That is when Blake says to Gordon, "What does that mean" and Gordon replies "We're on our own" However the President is not Obama or a random black president either.

Damn, I guess we have our first plot hole -- probably from final cut.

[spoilers]

Thanks for everything Name That Movie. Couple of questions: I'm curious when and how Talia, Selina, Bane and Blake learn Bruce is Batman? Also, how does Bruce escape the prison? Does he have to defeat guards before he climbs out? And what about that trailer scene with the guys repelling down from ropes into what looks like the prison?

Correct, Alfred gets very upset (Sad, not mad) telling Bruce this, and Bruce says "How dare you use her to try and get me to stop" He explains more, after this the next thing we get is the door bell ringing and Bruce waking up, looks for Alfred and answers the door. Fox is at the door and has a funny line, "Answering your own door now?" Bruce replies "Apparently"

Alfred shows up at the end.

I liked the chemistry between them. It would've been nice to see Bruce with someone like Zee, and it would've been something new.

So imagine my disappointment when Dini not only squashed that, he decided to have Bruce proclaim that Selina was the only woman he loved...sigh, lol.

OK, I'm sorry. I am new here and it seems I am messing up the spoilers tags. PROFOUND apologies. Help?

Is Catwoman a member of Bane's group or just helping him for the money?

I've read all the clarifications on the ending in these threads, and I will say this-

I am absolutely thrilled that there is no indication that Blake becomes "the new Batman", because THAT is what I was fearing the most.
I think I can breathe easy now.

So having said that, I am still as excited as ever to see this.
And the recent spoilers on the Bruce/Talia interaction won't ruin anything for me, because I'll still enjoy seeing the two macking on each other.
Gotta take what you can get, I guess.

So I'm okay.

I reckon there are a few indications, which I'm fine with.

Awww :csad: Thanks so much for answering that! I feel like I owe you a fruit basket or something for all the questions I've asked. :oldrazz:

Goddamn. This is going to break my heart big time.

Ah so Alfred didn't know back at the funeral that he was alive hence the tears and guilt for leaving Bruce.

Name thanks for the answers! I have two questions.

1. What happens to Mathew Modines character?

2. How graphic is Bane's death? Does he just blow up or do we see him laying down dying or something along those lines?

Damn, I wrote spoilers, not spoiler. Name that Movie, if you're still around, Anything on

When characters learn Bruce is Batman, and prison escape? Also, if you can explain the timing of bridges being blown up
