Now we know why Bale was smiling after reading the script. :lmao:

Bale: Chris! Chris! You're f**kin' telling me that Ima get to sleep with Talia and then tongue and feel up Catwoman?!

Nolan: Christian... we've been over this. Bruce Wayne is gonna do that. And yes.

Bale: Nolan, don't you screw me on this! I had to kiss Katie and pretend to love Maggie!

One thing that did annoy me is this, after Bruce escapes from the Prison (Climbs the wall) he gets out into day light and the next thing he's clean shaven and showing up on the streets of Gotham after Selina saves the kid with the apple. No explanation of how he got back with no money or anything.

Oh damn. I was hoping there's some cool explanation/scene for that. That's very disappointing. :csad:

This reminded me of those "outtakes".

afterall, he is an unofficial detective, and he told luscious in begins "you'll find a way in"

Name-that-movie So in regards to Alfred,
I assume he leaves Bruce after that fight where they discuss Rachel? And then after that we don't see Alfred again until the end at Bruce's 'grave' and then the cafe nod bit?

He's taken from the city before Bane blows up the Football field and initiates Martial Law.

Maybe it's a funny reference to Knightfall where something pretty similar happens between Who Rules The Night and Knightsend

I just had one question...asking in favor for my friend who's a big shipper of these two.lol

In regards to the Cafe ending, is it true that Selina is there with Bruce..and if so, is it established that they're starting a new life together or that they're just there together and will go their separate ways after that?

I personally disagree with the concerns about Batman's voice in this. It is very clear this time around. Not anywhere near as bad as The Dark Knight.

i think i'm the only one who really liked his bat voice in both movies, and loved the inaudible voice of bane in the prologue

It isn't implied that they will go on together or go their separate ways, they are shown for 3 seconds, and if you don't pay attention you'll just notice Bruce as he's the main focus of the shot.

I loved Bane's voice in the Prologue, he sounded so cool and calm. Very much in charge. They changed it so drastically in the final version that I really hate it. However it's only for the Prologue that it has been changed like that and the rest of the movie he sounds awesome. They've also added a few lines in the Prologue, nothing major. Just extended it some.

Ah, Ic. Thanks:yay: Oh and...

Is it true that during the climax that Catwoman had asked batman to run away from Gotham together?

If that's the case, I guess that could lean credence to why they're together in the last shot.

I'm sure Name or Shape or someone else can go maybe more into it, but going by what they've said before regarding this scene,
it's pretty quick and there's no dialogue. It's purpose--I believe-- it mainly for Alfred to see that Bruce is alive and it calls back to a bit Alfred says to Bruce earlier in the movie about when he was 'missing' during BB, and Alfred always saw a man at a cafe and hoped it was Bruce and he was able to enjoy his life one day. In the cafe scene, Alfred sees Bruce and Bruce sees him, they nod and Alfred smiles and leaves.

You can interpret the Selina/Bruce relationship at they got out of Gotham and get the fresh start they're both looking for. But beyond that as far as relationship longevity is really up for personal interpretation.

Nevermind, Name is more knowledgable and he came to the rescue. :)

Wow, that's quite short. I thought it was at least a lingering scene or something like that.

I'm guessing it's a case of just leaving it to the audience to imagine what they want.

Though,
if she is indeed wearing Martha's missing pearls at the end, that could be a romantic of nod--and something Bruce was charming enough to do in the end--though it's a bit far fetched that he went back to get them for her while faking his death and escaping Gotham unseen and all. Movie logic I guess :p. Name didn't recall if she had them on, and from the sound of the scene, it's probably hard to notice. But I nice callback to Batman Begins with the pearls with them being the last bit of the Estate.

IMHO, the pearls being missing signifies the fact that the Wayne Estate can't be closed, thus leaving that wee bit of a door open regarding Bruce's return...

And if he lets the pearls go, it could also be interpreted as a cathartic way of him letting some of the pain of that night go. Saying goodbye to his mother, as it were. But that's just me obsessing over silly details like that. :oldrazz:

Or wasn't the pearl thing so that the manor can be turned to an orphanage?

I actually like the idea of Selina wearing them considering that it seems that the first time they ever met was because of those pearls. :)

Another thing that doesn't fit logic - who put the new Batsignal at MCU? How can Bruce do that too if he's faked his death immediately?

If that's the case, I guess that could lean credence to why they're together in the last shot.

She says the scene from the third Trailer to him after he gives her the Bat Pod, she says shes just going to leave after she does what Bruce asks her to do. He says he doesn't think she will. Then she says the trailer line trying to get him to leave with him.

How long is each fight with Bane? How many fights with "thugs" are there? This is easily the most "action packed/violent" of the trilogy right?

When Selina steals the pearls from Wayne Manor and Bruce catches her. This is after he shoots the arrow at the target as she's standing looking at how torn up it is from all the shots. She knocks his cane out from under him after she says that he would never hit a woman and she would never hit a crippled shut in and escapes out the window. She was really there stealing Bruce's fingerprints off the safe. The Pearls have a tracking beacon in them, Bruce uses the beacon to find out where she lives. He then follows her the Costume ball, where she dances with him and gives him the "Baton down the hatches" speech. He tells her that she can keep the Pearls because they look better on her then they do in his safe. Earlier when he was doing some research on her on the "Bat computer" Alfred says they should look at all the local Fences to see if she had sold them. Bruce states that she wouldn't sell them, she liked them to much.

Hahaha, nevermind.

Many thanks, Name-that-movie for clearing that up!

Hey everyone, just catching up on everything!

I rather like that it's the kind of thing that you can interpret however you want.
