A question to the people who have already seen it:

Does the BLACK Tumbler make a comeback? I just love this wonderful toy.

I haven't seen the movie, however
from reports from pretty reliable sources there is no Black Tumbler, and no redesigned Batmobile.

Shape,

Does Selina make a quip after blowing Bane away, or are things pretty much re-focused on the main crux of stopping Talia and the reactor?

Also, is Talia's death instantaneous, a la Ra's in Begins, or does she have a few closing interactions/lines to Bruce/Batman and Selina before she dies?

adding to vans question, is the moment of his death super dramatic or a bit comedic or a mix?

i hope straight drama.

Selina does make a quip about Batman's no gun rule. Early in the film, he stops her from killing someone and says, "No guns'. In the instance with Bane, however, it was clearly necessary.

Talia's death is not instantaneous.

Why is batman shocked to turn around and see bane on the bridge? And how does bane know he's mr Wayne? Did catwoman trap him?
How long into the movie is this scene? Thanks

Lol, ok, I just hope it's not as hammy and cheesy as I fear it could be. :oldrazz:

That's good to know.

Btw, is there much interation between Hardy and Cotillard, and also are there a good portion of Bane/Talia flashbacks or is it just pretty much a couple of minutes or so towards/at the reveal?

All I'll say about this:

He's not shocked to see Bane. He's shocked that Selina trapped him.

One thing that I hope watching the film will help make sense of things is why..

Does bruce still trust Selina when he comes back even after she betrayed him to bane? I mean I can see why if there was no choice, but still, you'd think that Batman would be wary of her after he gets back...

I knew it! He had the look betrayal in his eyes. It's amazing just how much his eyes spoke in that one shot.

So I've caught up with all the spoilers and...

...I think I could actually deal with Bruce leaving with Selina in the end.

The Blake stuff makes my skin crawl though.

Oh well, on the other hand, the Gordon reveal scene sounds beautiful and perfect. Say, is that actually the first time in any Batman movie/comic etc. that Gordon gets an actual reveal scene? Usually, he just knows or it gets hinted at... But this is the first time he actually really gets told without having guessed it himself?
Sweet.

I also like that we see him struggling with the decision he made (or rather, was made for him) at the end of TDK. Really nice.

Question though...

Is the Miranda romance believable? It just sounds so incredibly cold. Especially her death. Do they have any scenes where you could actually believe those two mean something to each other?

And I echo somebody from above. He just forgives Selina her betrayal?

hey shape,

does batman get a different suit later in the movie after the first fight?maybe to absorb more punishment against bane

TheShape
Are there a lot of fight scenes that take place at night?
How long would you say the Talia chase scene is?
When the Bat goes down the river, is it a very sad moment and is there music in the background?

Question...

I know that after Bane beats Batman the first time, he sends him to prison. But is it the SAME prison Talia escaped from, or a makeshift one in Gotham? If it's the real prison that Talia was in, how did Bruce get back to Gotham?

What is Catwoman's quote there and does Batman agree with it.
I don't mind having Catwoman killing or Batman not chiding her there since she saves his life, but to outright have him agree that killing was necessary really questions how seriously Batman takes his one rule (which was already stretched with Ra's and Two-Face), and seems out of character given that in Dark Knight there was a moment where he was ready to retire rather than risk breaking his rule when he felt that may be the only way to defeat men like The Joker.

He doesn't agree, but the two of them move on quickly because they have other things to take care of.

Shape, could you answer this, please?:

Is there much interation between Hardy and Cotillard, and also are there a good portion of Bane/Talia flashbacks or is it just pretty much a couple of minutes or so towards/at the reveal?

@Shape do you agree that the negative reviews are just because critics are comparing it to TDK?

So, Bruce tells Gordon he is Batman?

To quote Name-that-movie the answer is:
Bruce makes a comment as he's getting in the Bat to Gordan that not all hero's need to wear masks. Sometimes it just takes some giving a coat to scared (think that is word he used) boy. The Bat hatch closes and we get a flash back to Gordon putting his jacket on young Bruce, then he whispers Bruce Wayne. As the Bat flies off. At Bruce's funeral you have Alfred, Gordon,Blake, Fox.

Sorry if this has been asked Shape, but how exactly does Bruce come out of retirement?

About Bruce in the prison/pit:

The reviewer said the only character that dies is the Mayor, but in trailers we see Bruce in the prison with a beard screaming "NOOO!!!" So somebody he knows must bite the dust. Unless someone decided to take a poo in his cell.

Your answer to that (thanks to Name-that-movie) is:
"I truly don't remember the Noooo scene, however you said noose around Bruce. Bruce never had a Noose around him. He did however have a rope that he was suspended from in his cell while his back was healing after the character played by Tom Conti set his back. He tells him to stay there until you can walk. Now that I think about it, when Conti slams his vertibrate back into his back he screams NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO and passes out. He then procedes to have a dream about Ra's Al Ghul When he awakens he begins training to escape the Prison. "
