Shape a quick question

How graphic is Banes death when he gets hit with the canon? Name said that he flies about 20 feet and that's that. Do we actually see him as a corpse, or does he just hit a wall? What's to lead us to believe that he died? Thanks in advance.

I've never asked any questions from you or the few others who have seen this movie because I figured everyone else will be bombarding you guys.

One popped in my head though.

Do they refer to the jail/pit as the Lazarus Pit?

Nope.

such a pedantic question

Thanks for the reply...and I'm glad they didn't go there.
If Nolan can call a cop "Robin," then I think he might as well have called the jail the "Lazarus Pit" and Jen "Holly."

theShape!!!!!

You spilled the beans on [BLACKOUT]ROBIN[/BLACKOUT]!!! And I wasn't the first you told?! Lol.

You make me less worried about it -- and you're right, it sounds better the way you told it.

For all we know, he IS [BLACKOUT]Dick Grayson[/BLACKOUT], or [BLACKOUT]Tim Drake[/BLACKOUT], or [BLACKOUT]Jason Todd[/BLACKOUT]. He could be any [BLACKOUT]orphan[/BLACKOUT] under an [BLACKOUT]assumed name[/BLACKOUT]. Or -- he's [BLACKOUT]John Blake[/BLACKOUT], an amalgamation of all [BLACKOUT]three characters[/BLACKOUT] who wore the [BLACKOUT]red tunic[/BLACKOUT] .

Question for ya, since you are giving it up like a girl on prom night :) ....

Was [BLACKOUT]Blake[/BLACKOUT] Bruce's [BLACKOUT]inside man on the GCPD[/BLACKOUT]?

Did they know each other before the events of this film take place?

I need to know that [BLACKOUT]my character[/BLACKOUT] has been handled properly!

This type of comments are embarrassing.

Please. No need to start an argument. Youve been here long enough to know those lead nowhere. I was just stating my opinion. I didnt literally mean "Eff Travers". Wasnt even that mad. Just frustrated.

PLUS!!! SHAPE!!!

Is she ever referred to as [blackout]Talia[/blackout] in the film?

Been reading the ending spoilers for the last few days...

Does anyone think it's plausible Nolan left the ending somewhat open for a possibility for Batman to return for a Justice League movie? Maybe he's throwing a pitch to direct it. They can easily start of Justice League with a small backstory of JGL's character being Gotham's new hero but not being able to handle it, so Batman and the Justice League are formed... something like that.

Nope, and nope. Nolan says he will not direct a Justlice League movie.

And seriously, just think about it. Nolan's Batman does not exist in the same universe as Martian Manhunter and Superman.
The next Batman series will have Bruce Wayne as Batman. Anything else wouldn't sell.

With the rumored ending, I really have no problem [BLACKOUT]letting Batman retire while "Blake" aka "Robin" takes over for awhile. In the comics, Nightwing/Robin always watched over Gotham while Bruce was away/presumed dead.[/BLACKOUT]

I have a question for someone who has seen the movie, and it might sound a bit strange to some of you but I have my reasons and I'd like for it to be taken seriously.

I'm very curious as to how much attention Ben Roethlisberger, Brett Kiesel, Maurkice Pouncey, Heath Miller, Mike Wallace, Bill Cowher, ect., are given in The Dark Knight Rises. I'm aware they only play a very small part as cameos in only one scene, but I'd like to know how many of them (if any) one can actually make out on the screen (besides Hines, who can be seen clearly in the trailers).

If anyone would like to elaborate, as much as possible, for me the scene at Heinz Field, I would greatly appreciate it.

A thousand thanks!

To anyone who has seen the movie
would you describe Miranda Tate as undeveloped? Is her romance with Bruce believable? Most importantly, in the beginning does the viewer like and trust her character so that her revelation as talia and her betrayal really pack a punch or is the fake good side so forced that no one really cares as they had no feelings for the character. This is concerning me so please any opinions and such are greatly appreciated!!

While I haven't seen the film, I've read enough of the spoilers to know something about this.lol

From what's been said by those who have seen the film; Bruce never really falls in love with Talia, but does come to care for her thus it still shocks him when she stabs him and reveals her real identity to him. Talia's entire motivation for getting close to Bruce was to get him to provided the resources and means to creation that fusion reactor/bomb....so in short, it was supposedly never "real" from Talia's end to begin with.

I just can't see bane wheezing after getting beaten...but is this the scene we see in the trailer when he is looking around in daylight and has extremely pissed?

Sounds cool and I appreciate your answer but what's really concerning me is that
when the big reveal happens will the audience react like HOLY MOTHER OF GOD like im hoping or will it be more like, now who was she again? As in does the facade of Miranda convince the viewer and lure them into the same false sense of security that Bruce falls for or is her character so neglected and her storyline so forced that no one cares?
Don't get me wrong,i have extreme faith in Nolan and his storyline creation, but right now her story, being as crucial as it is, is something that MUST be done right IMO. It's the only thing worrying me about the film and odds are it'll be great, but some reassurance would go a long way lol

Well, assuming if what has been said is true:

People are lead to believe that the bald child presented or talked about in flashbacks or whatnot, that was shown to have endured the prison and escape from it is Bane at first, but it's later revealed that the bald child that escaped was Talia all along, with the aid of Bane who didn't need to use a mask at the time.

And considering that she and Bruce have one night of passion before his first encounter with Bane and how she's the first person that he shows such physical intimacy with after a 8 year hiatus, I don't think that it'd be easy for a casual viewer to forget about her character. I mean, people are led to believe that she's a regular good woman who might be the one that Bruce may/could end up settling down with if he were to choose that path, but when she reveals herself that throws that glimmer of hope out the window.

Fantastic!
So it comes way out of left field and truly packs a punch. The viewer at first sees her as Bruce's way of moving on from Rachel, leading the audience to believe that her purpose is purely based on emotion. Her character matters to the viewer thus making her betrayal shocking, bringing an innocent love based character into the heart of the battle for the true element of surprise. Exactly what I wanted to hear. Thank you sir!
