I don't care about RT, or score for that matter. Studios don't care either. So long as they get their money, the movie could get a 2/10, ya know?

I'll be heading out in 2 hours to see it. I'm excited!

Like IM2? Hahaha.

IM: 9/10
TIH: 8/10
IM2: 7/10
Thor: 82/100 (I didn't like it that much first time I watched it)
CA:TFA: 9/10 (Captain America is a favorite of mine)
TA: 94/100

As I said, both Nolan Batman movies are an 85/100. I dunno, I don't really like the complete dark and gritty atmosphere. I do love the movies though.

That isn't saying much to be fair. If there was no Begins, TDK, BR or '89, Batman Forever would be the best Batman film around. It still wouldn't be good. I was actually surprised by how... not good this film was.

If there was no Batman '89 or Batman Returns, there would be no Batman Forever....

I'm not gonna say I told you so....lol.

But hey, even I wasn't predicting a 73% at one moment.

Nonsense. Punisher got like 29% or something? I was just watching it last night and thinking, "Thomas Jane is THE Punisher".

I was being sarcastic to the guy. It does not work.

Heh, I enjoy Thomas Jane's acting, but for me, Ray Stephenson was a far better Punisher. Its just a shame that the movie he was in sucked.

Don't know why you replied to me with this.

I couldn't get into Ray's performance since I couldn't even stand the entire movie. Maybe one day I'll try to watch it and focus on Punisher and not...everything else, haha.

I suppose the movie is bad then.

Not bad. Just not consistent.

The first half is like the perfect Spider-Man film imo. The second half is where it suffers.

And Peter and Gwen are absolutely the anchors in this film. Without their brilliant dialogue and chemistry, the film would be a lot worse.

Also Andrew IS Peter Parker/Spider-Man. End of discussion.

Prometheus has a 73%. Though, ASM will most likely either go down or up within the next few weeks.

But the first half is the origin story, which is where the vast majority if the negativity is being aimed towards critically wise.

How can the first half be the perfect Spider-Man film when it had no Spider-Man?

Just read the negative reviews. It sounds like a lot critics are being harsh towards this movie lol

Well I think I've read enough of those. I haven't seen it, but if I like the film, then I like the film. I'm just glad to hear that Garfield and Stone are being well received, it looks like they have a bright future ahead. As for Webb, I wish him the best.

I don't get that.

Well that's where the majority of the major problems stem from.
Deja vu, been there done that, etc.
Of course the origin story would be the most Spider-Man aspect of the movie considering that it was in the comics.

ANother question, how are the action sequences in comparison too all other cbm films? I can't imagine it being any less exciting than XM:FC or Batman.

What is the song when the flash hits Peter in the head a ball from the basket (the scene where Peter attaches photo club)? Please

If there was no Batman '89 or Batman Returns, there would be no Batman Forever....

Nothing about it hinges on the existences of the other two films, so really it is sound argument.

I'd say this is the best Spider-Man movie in-spite of itself.

I think the early repetitiveness would have got a slide if not for the fact that the second half is a fractured mess.

And honestly, while the first half didn't feel like the Raimi films, the home stretch certainly did and that was not a good thing.

Doesn't have to be ALL about Spider-Man, but it should have some.

And there's only one Spider-Man scene I really enjoyed. The carjacker scene. After that mostly everything looked like the Raimi movies. Clumbsy and shoddy CGI work.

yuck
