Anything is a bonus but if Iron Legion are in, Rhodey probably has relevance. If not in AoU hopefully we see him armoured up in an Avengers film at some point.

War Machine is the weakest link in the MCU for me. I dont need to see him longer than 5 minutes in AOU. Sorry Rhodey but thats the truth.

5 minutes is plenty of time for a cameo anyway, especially in a film with so many lead characters. Would be more than enough.

Not saying he'd be needed, just a more convenient excuse for a cameo than something completely unrelated like Loki & aliens.

^^ Im def not gonna complain if hes in the movie, Im sure whatever Joss has planned will be awesome. He'll make the character cooler than hes been in the other films. Hes just my least fav hero in the MCU

Since Sam's with Steve looking for Bucky, he should be in at least a few scenes.

It would be typical of Hollywood though to "kill off the black guy" especially if Falcon isn't in this film.

Yeah the fact that WM didn't get any action in IM3 was very disappointing. I can see a Rhodey cameo in AoU but no need for WM unless it's just to Jill him off against Ultron.

A lot of people would be mad. If people hated Coulson being killed they'd flip if Rhodey was killed off.

I would love to see him as part of The Avengers.Because there’s a great dysfunction among that team, and I think Wolverine would fit right into that. He’d like that. There’s no doubt he’d get in a fight with Hulk at some point. Those two bad, rage-filled characters are going to square off at some point. It would be quite fun. I don’t know how much fun to shoot it would be because I’m sure I’d be on the worst end of it, but hey, he can heal.

Of course! Fox's X-Verse and the MCU are completely different. Unless they go into some alternate dimension/parallel universe mumbo jumbo, something like this would be a slap in the face to MCU fans who value coherence and continuity. And even if they go into said alternate dimension/parallel universe mumbo jumbo, I think it would come off as an extremely cheap money grab. Just a piss poor idea.

Yeah, although I think there is an angle they could play if they got Fantastic Four back. Likewise Spidey, although tonally that one is very different. X-Men is off limits though, leave FOX to it

Agreed, just keep them away.. even though i would love to see Magneto, beast and Wolverine in an avenger movie, I would rather not see this convoluted mess where they just ignore continuity issues instead of trying to fix them

The problem with the X-men being in the same universe as other superheroes, in any format is the fact that humans are scared of mutants, but not other beings with powers.

Even if they have the FF in the same universe as X-men, why would humans be trying to kill mutants but be cheering the FF. X-men are best in their own universe unless you are willing to ignore the above.
