Didnt they say "the group known as The Avengers" on the news at the end of the movie? If Avengers Tower is there, theyll be known by everyone by that moniker.

You might still be going crazy, but it would be completely irrelevant to your memory on this one =) Off the top of my head, there have been at least four lines directly referencing them as the Avengers in the movies...

From The Avengers:
Stark: "The Avengers. That's what we call ourselves. 'Earth's Mightiest Heroes,' type thing."
TV news anchor: "Despite the devastation of what has been confirmed as an extraterrestrial attack, the extraordinary heroics of the group known as the Avengers has been..."
WSC Member #3: "Where are the Avengers?"

EDIT (I found another one!):
TV commentator: "Tough questions are being asked about the Avengers themselves, of their sudden appearance and equally sudden disappearance..."

From Iron Man 3:
Harley: "When can we talk about the Avengers?"

And that isn't mentioning the references from Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

Haha my bad guys, my post was confusing. I know they were referenced by name in the first one, I just meant I hope that the villains refer to them as the Avengers (like the image "Die Avengers, Die") instead of "Captain America and his colorful friends" or something of the like.

I was thinking he looks more like TOS-era Shatner.

I know Clint's in Eastern Europe there and it's supposed to be cold so he needs the long-sleeve jacket and all, but....well, I'll just say that I hope we see the Avengers 1 costume again for the rest of the movie.

Since we're on the topic of Renner, I'm so glad he's part of the MCU. I just rewatched the Town the other day and he's such an amazing actor. I'm so glad he's going to get a bigger part this time around.
