well we know hawkeye and hulk have bigger roles and we will know more about black widow's past

also tony and steve are pretty much connected with hydra and ultron plus they will be the co-lead of avengers.

and thor would probably have some great fighting scenes, some jokes about him trying to adapt earth

I feel like given on how we haven't seen or heard of chris filming as thor on any exterior set locations that thor won't have that much of a big role in this when compared to the other avengers. I hope I'm wrong

If we're lucky, it means he's filming big action sequences that require sound stages and green screens.

I hope so. It's kind of insulting that he wasn't even labeled as a threat to hydra in tws.

Just saw these and thought they were cool.

How would they kill Thor with those hellicarrier guns?

Well they were going to try and kill the hulk with them, plus I don't think they really know on what thor's limitations are so from their pov, there would be no hurt in trying

Im sure thor was on their list even if they didnt mention him.

Are Asgardians bulletproof like Superman and Hulk? If so, thats awesome. I never really thought about it.

In Avengers when Loki attacks, they shoot him with machine guns, but I wasnt sure if that was the scepter protecting him or not.

Yeah I think they are.

After all, Thor did get slammed into a ****ing mountain by Iron Man and didn't have a scratch on him.

Love those transforming effects

He also dove for cover when that jet starting shooting at Hulk.

Thor can take bullets but being bulletproof doesn't mean it doesn't sting a bit. ;)

He's been undamaged by far more powerful attacks, and Asgardians far weaker than him have bounced bullets off their body unharmed. Yes, Thor is bulletproof.

If Loki can shrug off bullets, then they wouldn't effect Thor much (they maybe the equivalent of bee-stings for him). He took shots from Iron Man's repulsers and was completely unharmed, so bullets shouldn't be a problem. Plus, HYDRA was planning to kill Banner with those guns not the Hulk. If Banner gets unexpected shot by a giant cannon from the sky that he's completely unprepared for, then it could very well kill him. Can't turn into the Hulk if you're completely vaporized after all.

Loki was being hit with small arms fire, not 25mm rotary cannon shells.

Also we don't know the extent of Asgardian armor, how much protection it provides in addition to (or in lieu of) to their natural toughness.

I'm not saying Thor isn't impervious to conventional weaponry (though I feel the jury may still be out), just that he has good reason to get the hell out of the way even if he is because it probably still hurts like hell.

Great graphics though I'm more than a little disturbed by Maria Hill's virtual whitewashing. But then I've always disliked that casting. :csad:

Hasn't Maria Hill always been white in the comics?
