Yeah after party is the working name.

Was waiting for RDJ to post a pic too and he didn't dissapoint. Also that Thor hair I like it.

Also I just came back from Godzilla and ATJ was okay imo. I have no worries about him for Quicksilver

What does Strat stand for??

Stratford -- a man with cancer who's dying wish is to see Cap2. He wasn't well enough to see it in theatres, and so his family is trying to get Marvel to send an early copy to his hospital for him.
To add to what Huddsy explained, here's Strat's daughter's blog where this campaign originated, for anyone that wants to go through and read her & her dad's story :)

Dr Strange starts off cold and imperious - very much the preeminent surgeon who holds life and death in his hands. Even when he has his accident and starts to encounter things he can't understand or control he shouldn't be frazzled or weak but rather eventually a bit humbled though even more powerful. They need a larger than life powerful actor for Strange. Someone like Javier Bardem.

Yep

Strange started of as a arrogant ass**** brilliant surgeon who got his hands messed up in a accident which meant he couldn't perform surgery any more. Strange then became a depressed humbled trainwreck on a downward spiral looking for some way to heal himself and be a surgeon again which lead him to tracking down the ancient one taking up magic instead of medicine and becoming the aloof sorcerer supreme protect we know.

You need an actor who you can feel for. You need a guy who can play a big ego jerk who looses the thing that makes him special and then finds a new purpose in life.

You want to make the audience go from disliking the guy to rooting for him like Jamie Lannister in Game Of Thrones.

Would it be fair to say Strange is like a mix of THOR and Tony Stark character wise? Arrogant ass**** (Thor/Tony) whos an expert in his field (Tony), but becomes reduced to a more humble state after his accident (Thor/Tony).

Disaster/monster movies are usually not known for their human characters anyways so whatever I say.

The Godzilla parts make up for whatever shortcomings the humans provide. They finally got the big guy right.

I really want to read the A2 spoilers but Im trying not to....but i wanna know stuff.

Yeah, I've read a few less-than-stellar comments on his performance even in positive reviews, which is unfortunate. I have yet to see it myself, hopefully Whedon makes him either step his game up or Quicksilver's the kinda role that suits him more. I mean... he was pretty good in Kick-Ass I thought, so there's potential.

Whedon managed to get some good performances out of SMG, S well as other marginal TV talents. He should have no problem with ATJ. ( He was good in that John Lennon biopic btw.)

Thanks. Sure we'll get the solo Strange but interested to see if there'll be any info on Avengers inclusion. Same goes for Ant Man at some stage in future if his film does well. Aside from that Ms Marvel & Black Panther were the characters I thought might turn up for Avengers 3. Hopefully that works out and they also get solos before or after.

I think it's pretty much a foregone conclusion that most (if not all) the big names to get movies will appear in an Avengers movie. That's kind of the whole point of the MCU to take people on the journey from the individual aspect of their lives to the bigger and higher stakes team battle

I could very well be late to this party and I am sure some disscusion has been made about this elsewhere but I have just read the wikipedia (I know!!) entry for the Scarlet Witch and there is an interesting reference to Mount Wundagore and Cthon.

"The twins are born during a battle between the Knights of Wundagore and the Other, "the elemental host of Cthon"; Mt. Wundagore is the prison of the Elder God Chthon, and Magda had come to the mountain in the midst of a plot of his to escape the prison. Cthon altered Wanda and will later give her the ability to use magic in addition to her mutant abilities; Cthon had planned to use her as a vessel for his own demonic possession when she reached maturity, a vessel with both mutant and magical powers."

Seeing as Baron Strucker has possession of The sceptre which originally belonged to The Other (Cthon) I am just wondering if Strucker's base is Mt Wundagore and if we will see The Other appear in this too??

The possibility of any scoop from wiki being reliable is less than 1%

Am I the only one who didn't know that Fox was working on "Fantastic Four 3" and were going to bring Black Panther into the movie?!?

Does this mean they have the rights to BP and Marvel is waiting for them, or...?

Well FOX is rebooting F4 right now so it isn't F4 #3 but I can guarantee you that there is no way in hell Marvel is leasing out BP to them. Whoever told you that is off their rocker. BP as been mentioned several times by Feige as in production and many speculate his first appearance will be in A:AoU since some of the shooting has been done in Africa and it has been rumored that Ultron [BLACKOUT]will have vibranium armor[/BLACKOUT] so if BP does appear it will probably be just as a prince since they more than likely will do his origin story and that would involve his rise to becoming king of Wakanda

I was really fond of that John hamm rumor for Strange a while back.

The only thing that didnt make me hype for the film, was Spader doing mo-cap so we might get a humany face for Ultron at some point.

Why would Ultron wanna look human? Unless it's just body movement.

I love that we will get to see all the team together early on. And then presumably they split up to do stuff across the world

Well assuming the article holds true, he will only mocap for one of his versions so eh.

Nikolaj Coster-Waldau was I think my first choice in the Dr Strange casting thread and at 43 he's the right age. He's also auditioned for Marvel before - I think he was up for Rumlow in CATWS.

Hope we get more scenes of the whole team together. There were not many in the first movie. Do you guys think we will get another couple of entire team shots?

Coster-Waldau/Lannister would be a great it.

Ummm yes. It's pretty much common sense and a given.

I believe we will get more team shots and more grouping due to time limit

One of my fav ULTRON versions is his flying Supercharged Engine Block machine. It would be crazy to see that in the film.

He hasn't posted since May 6th. As I posted earlier though he's spewing crap here:

http://theculturednerd.com/2014/05/...-of-ultron-secrets-revealed-by-roger-wardell/

What a *****ebag this guy is.

Wrong.

Roger Wardell has not posted since September of last year. The Roger Wardell 2 account is a fake.

I.E. Not the original guy.

He even said so on his account that @RogerWardell2 is not him: https://mobile.***********/RogerWardell/status/349573088163266561

And as far as that original account, about 95% of his scoops have been right, whereas 95% of Roger Wardell 2's scoops are wrong.
