I just hope no one experiences a 'Cyclops' moment like in X-Men 2. IIRC Cyclops was defeated at the very beginning of the movie and pretty much missed all the action; it was pointless to even have him in there; next movie he was killed at the very beginning. Why destroy such a staple to the X-Men universe?

Speaking of which, does anyone know if he has any sort of role in DoFP?

Its only the 2nd movie, I dont expect any major character deaths in the beginning of the film.

Last I heard Cyclops isnt in DOFP.

I'm just concerned about some of the character's. Imagine if Cap was beaten so badly at the beginning of the movie, he wasn't able to fight for the rest of it. That would be so lame.

I hope he really builds onto the new stuff we saw Cap do in TWS. I want to see more synergy too.

Imagine if Thor cast lightning on Iron Man, then Iron Man directed it at Cap's Shield, and Cap deflected the ultra-powerful beam at Ultron.

I've asked this dozens of times but I always forget to check back for the answer: who will be the minions?

Loki was to the Chituari, as Ultron is to the...?

It's also possible that Ultron might "hack" the Iron Legion, turning them against the Avengers.

Has anyone heard about Ultron being made of Vibranium? I don't know if I like that. I know Wakanda is sitting over a huge Vibranium deposit, and that pushes it a little, but I'm sort of put off by Ultron being made of Vibranium.

I like it when Cap's shield is the absolute only thing made of Vibranium. That way his shield is 100% unique - there's absolutely no way to replicate its design/make. But when you start throwing Vibranium around, it takes the uniqueness away.

It's like Stark's suit. At first he seems unique cause he pilots a self-made Iron Man suit. But then you realize people like Rhodey can fly one too, and then you realize Stark isn't unique since he can create dozens upon dozens of suits that don't even need him. It takes away the uniqueness of Stark.

If Ultron is made of Vibranium, and if it came from Wakanda, is this hinting at a possible Black Panther appearance?

All of this is based on the fallacy that one aspect not being unique destroys a character. Cap isn't Cap because of a shield. Cap without a shield? Still Cap. Likewise, Tony isn't Iron Man because he wears an armor, he's Iron Man because he *builds* armors. Any idiot can pilot a suit of armor. Tony can build armies of robotic weapons, and turn anybody he wants into a functional superhuman whenever he so chooses.

Well there's HYDRA tanks apparently. Also QS and Scarlet Witch start off as antagonists.

The robot army while overdone will probably only be used to spread out the threat at the finale and give the team something to annihilate in a fun, PG-13 manner.

Yeah the HYDRA tanks are in that wooded area part, but then Hawkeye, SW and QS are fighting some group of robots together at one point. I dont think thats a finale battle.

Glad to see it's getting very personal with Cap. Avengers 1 was very personal with Thor seeing that it was his brother.

I think HYDRA will be the threat throughout most of the movie, and Ultron works in the background, occasionally fighting the Avengers, who have to deal with 2 threats.

It also might explain the Hulk VS Hulk-Buster in the concept art.

Plus having all those Iron Man suits can detract from the team.
