Why?

For me, it takes away from the specialness of the core Avengers to have loooooads of other super powered people.

"Whoa...that building just exploded and people are in danger...let's call Stark."

(Yay we get to see Iron Man in action...I love it when that happens)

It just feels like Tron:Legacy...I couldn't care less about Flynn's SON...I wanna see Flynn...or the Cosby Show with Olivia...you get me, right?

It takes the attention and screen time off the main characters I've come to know and want to see.

I dont think Avengers are going to go through these huge global/interplanetary battles against super villains and not set up precautionary measures (backup heroes) in case one or more of them buys the farm. Just not smart imo. Disagree if you wish.

Who here wants to see more super powered heroes on TV? raise your hand.

because it makes the core characters less special.
I'm all for introducing new super powered characters, but carefully. build up the universe organically. a bunch of random super powered Avenger recruits is NOT the way to go. This isn't X-Men.

No, as terry said Fire Guy is no longer flame ******ant. These are different characters. I believe Fire Guy is also in high school and working in pizza delivery part time to pay for his acne treatment.

If Water Dude is in they can ditch Thor, IM, Cap & Hulk. Save on costs and there's only so much awesome that can fit in one film. Really hope they can get him.

Totally missing the point. The twins and Vision developed organically in the MCU, they are a progression. Same goes for Falcon or Iron Machine/War Patriot/Whatever. A truckload of random kids in training mode, however, are not. They are just random Powers without reason or introduction. The only way this could work is to have Strucker have genetically augmented or experimented on a huge number of kids and they all line up to be Avengers trainees. And that's very lazy writing. It's fine to be in an Age of Miracles but this being the only reason to flood the world with super powered beings opens Pandora's box and you have te same mess X-Men has for decades.
