Sounds like it's gonna be a big action piece. I can dig it
Seeing the pic of Chris in his Thor costume reminds me of this video:

So I know that it's already been established that the new IM armor we saw on set is essentially the MK42 from IM3 but with the colors inverted. However, I was just looking through my IM3 art book today and noticed that it was actually one of Ryan Meinerding's alternate designs for the MK42. The main difference being that the biceps and forearm on the new armor still retain same color layout as on the MK42 but with the hands being all red. Pretty cool! It's always nice to see unused concepts make it into another film. Sorry if this was pointed out already.

For science.![]()
I think Suzanne's "science" would be a lot more popular in school than ..physics for eg.IT IS RELEVANT TO MY INTERESTS!! And this thread! I had hypotheses and everything! I swear![]()
t:Looks great
He's/it's looked perfect from day 1. Although I'd say the same for Iron Man. And I'm 100% happy with Hulk going forward from Avengers (even though I liked the TIH version too) and Cap from TWS.thor is the only one where his costume doesn't need big changes
it looks cool
It's a pretty cool thing when most are in agreement that the MCU doesn't need hardly any changes. Speaks a lot about how spot on Joss and Co appreciate the source material
If you'd asked me after Avengers I'd have said Cap needs some changes, and well..he got them! It's a pretty cool thing when most are in agreement that the MCU doesn't need hardly any changes. Speaks a lot about how spot on Joss and Co appreciate the source material
Looks like his best costume yet.
Can he be sleeveless the whole movie? His arms deserve the exposure.
More like his head looks massive. Are we certain he isn't playing MODOK
I disagree. I think both looks work. When he's sleeveless he looks more rugged, but with the sleeves he looks more royal and battle ready. The sleeves complete the look.I wish. He looks a million times more badass but yet they insist on armoring him up.
His arms and shoulders look smaller than they did for avengers 1. He looks leaner.

In Avengers too. He looked awesome strutting sleeveless around the helicarrier, like he was enjoying the UN-financed air conditioning, but as soon as he armored his guns to fight Loki he just looked hot and sweaty and uncomfortable.
I agree with this... I've always loved his sleeveless lookCan he be sleeveless the whole movie? His arms deserve the exposure.

Are you suggesting Thor fighting in naught but his birthday suit?! HmmmmmmmmmYeah, and Thor really shouldn't even need armor. The Son of Odin and God of Thunder should be able to shrug off most attacks with his bare skin. If anything the armor is more for show, like the cape.

I'd wait for better pics before we say that for certain. It's a candid pic that's poorly lit/exposed in a hallway and with the two guys and the shadows at play due to his cape and costume I think - in this particular situation - it's playing a bit of an optical illusion and making his arms seem smaller than they probably areHis arms and shoulders look smaller than they did for avengers 1. I'm still hoping that we'll get some news involving Thor (Chris) being spotted within an exterior location, that isn't within a studio, which involves him being a part of a big action sequence.
So far, we've had set photos reveal that every other Avenger will be involved in some real-world exterior location that involves a action sequence, whereas the only time that we've seen Thor was at the Avengers academy.
