I'm going to concur with this one my friend! I've thought this for awhile ever since his Spartacus debut replacing Andy Whitfield. This dude should seriously be taken into consideration. He's got the acting chops and the toughness that would mesh great for an Arkham styled Batman. His age and height are also appropriate for a Batman that would stand alongside Henry Cavill's Superman. If it can't be Bale then I say put the word out for Liam in the Batman reboot! Also, I just noticed he's made some Batman related comments in his twitter in the past year.

He would be a good choice, he could play either a young Bruce, or well established.

Haven't seen Liam in anything (I've only watched some of the early episodes of Spartacus) but if he's as good in that show as Whitfield was, then that's an interesting suggestion.

I watched the show here and there from start to finish. My dad was more of an avid watcher of it than I was. However, I've seen enough to know that he was really a standout talent in terms of dramatic acting amongst the other cast members. When he replaced Andy I thought this guy actually might make a good Batman someday. He's also the kind of actor who I think could sign a multipicture contract. Basicly all he needs is Cavill's personal trainer and you just might have that BTAS/Kevin Conroy/Arkhamverse Batman that many of you have been in support of!

His hair was so horrifying that you probably repressed the memory.

Also, regarding the Franco suggestion... I like him but definitely not for Bruce Wayne. He might be able to pull it off but for some reason, when he doesn't work in a role, he sticks out like a sore thumb. I wouldn't want to take that chance.

but see, i don't know how he wouldn't be able to pull it off.

i think most people are against him because he's a bit of a *****enozzle really.

Lets just get Val Kilmer back and everyone goes home happy!

:yay:

He was a solid Bruce Wayne! I still feel bad for the guy. He could have been so much better.

But let's get the chubby Kilmer back in the cowl and call it a day!

Imagine Val Kilmer circa 1995 and Henry Cavill 2013 standing side by side... eh... without the Bat-nipples!

And before I get a ****storm for my previous post, it was what they call SARCASM, gentleman! (Though my above statement is serious.)

Give 1995 Kilmer the Begins suit and put him in Burton's 1989 Bat-Universe.

That would have been pure gold. I don't even see the problem with his suit. If he was just thrown into the Burton world it would have been amazing. With some less comedic villains like Burton doing a Scarecrow (at the time I would have chosen Jeff Goldblum).

I don't like the sculptured abs on the pre-Nolan suits.

NOBODY likes the Bat-nipples!
