THE BATMOBILE THREAD

I kinda don't want another tank type batmobile. I always wanted to see the batmobile from the animated series or a more modern batmobile from batman returns type. Eh.

Watching some of Leno's Garage vids, came upon this 1993 Porsche Schuppan. Kinda like this design, but with updated version and more ''Batman'' like and it would be perfect.

I love how sleek and low key this is

Not a fan of the american muscle type batmobile.

I would like something that looks really cool and fun again that when you look at it, you know it's the Batmobile.
I thought the Tumbler and the BvS were distinctly visually Batmobiles.

They just weren’t decked out in bat themed decorations. 89 mobile was low key with it given the small fin wings on the back panels.

Everything else since besides the Arkham City is rather over the top and garish with the bat themed deco

If we get a rougher, more utilitarian Batman costume, I’d want a rough, more utilitarian Batmobile. And if, say the difference between Nolan’s ultitatian look for the Batsuit and Reeves’s look is something like “low level sci-fi” and “battered and bare bones”, then seeing a more “bruiser” type of Batmobile that looks like a ‘roided up street car would match Nolan’s tank design for the Tumbler.

There’s a stronger tradition towards giving Batman a more sleek, sports-car style design for the Batmobile rather than a bulky and hard edged muscle car look...

...But I’d actually like the muscle car look better, and mostly because of one thing I’d love to see: Catwoman steals a sports car that’s all smooth lines, curves, and a performance engine, and Batman pursues in the mean looking Batmobile, and we get a car version of their usual chase.

Either way, I kind of want the car, sporty or muscle, to have a few bullet dents and signs of damage from Batman having to run the thing hard.

Y’know what I’d love to see for the Batmobile, regrdaless of the rest of its design?

The Bat-Ram.

Y’know, that giant Bat-head with the snow-plow point on front that was ostensibly supposed to be used for ramming straight into other cars and walls.

It’s like a more offense oriented bull bar like you see on trucks and police cars.

And it would be a great way to separate the offensive stylings of the Burtonmobile, Tumbler and Snydermobile from the Reeves version. All of those had guns somewhere on them - a the Bat-Ram would replace them with the idea of “just hit that SOB as hard as you can if you have to stop it.”

Battering ram, spears and tow cables, tire shredders, emp devices. I’d love to see all kinds of non-gun weapons on the batmobile.

If we're lucky maybe we'll get to see the iconic Bat-Selfie they always present on the face of the Batmobile

Give me an old school car chase that Bruce turns into a demolition derby when he gets outnumbered with all the old school car gadets, with the Batmobile emerging beat up and busted... but the winner.

I would adore something classic-flavored that uses the Rolls-Royce Jonckheere Aerodynamic Coupe ll as a base, peppered with a few of the bat-trimmings.

I’m really into this idea. I kinda like the idea of a batmobile that is unique but still blend in a bit.

Hence why I don't recognize them as Batmobiles.
