really? I think it looks awwwwful. Not only is it ugly as sin, it seems like it's only meant as training armor to help guys get better at fighting with their bare knuckles. If there was a video of someone in that thing taking a shotgun blast to the chest with it, that would be another thing...

For sure - I think there could be parts of it that work, although again I'd like to see how it holds up to a blade. I don't know what this suit is made out of, but I'm not sure how/if it would be much better than the liquid kevlar-esque fabric. It seems like it's made out of plastic - I'm assuming it's not, but I would gather it's made out of something soft enough to not shatter the hands of the bare-knuckle boxers training on it. One thing I'll say for it is that it looks like the torso design is built for movement in a smart way. I do think that Batman should wear a heavy torso piece (underneath fabric) and spine guard.

I'm sure it will. I'm more hoping we actually see all of the suit. A lot of manips show Batman mostly covered by the cape or shadow. It will be a really disappointing reveal if we can't actually see the costume.

^ I'm hoping we can see it too. Although they obscured the crotch region a bit for the superman suit reveal. Possibly to prevent freak-outs. But freak-outs and many zoom-ins ensued nonetheless.
