I hope NOT100% at all times. I'm sure the cape will be CGI but not all 100%.

I mean that Batman will be 100% CGI at some times, not that he will be CGI 100% of the time. All I'm saying is that Batman will probably have a "digital stuntman" at times, which is par for the course these days.

Just after watching the new amazing spider man 2 trailer we got a full shot of electro's suit and the material looks like it could work for a batsuit.

Yeah, the Electro suit looks pretty damn cool and seems to be mostly fabric:

Looks like it's just foam latex and neoprene. Same materials used on every Batsuit except the TDKR suit.

Same materials, different proportions.

I'm sure the fabric is something like neoprene but it looks like that's what the suit is mostly made of, without nearly as much sculpted elements (although there clearly are some, like the shoulders).

So yeah, same materials, but whereas on those other suits the neoprene served solely as a base for the rubber to be stuck to and was mostly covered by it, this one has a lot more of it showing.

Seriously, this made me realize how terryfying Batman would be in real life. I mean imagine if it was real for just a moment.

Someone that big and dressed in such a way with a dark suit and all kinds of explosives, weapons and stuff. You know he is roaming the streets during the nights and all you know about him is that he´s probably a huge über trained phsycho, a skilled h2h/martial arts combatant and someone who beats up people he deems bad for a living.

I would be freaking scared if I saw him.

I am sorry but that clip from Blazzing Saddles i posted was racist ? seriously ? It's black humour (sorry, am i racist for saying black humour ? ). If Mel Brooks got away with it why not me ? also Jamie Fox, the actor who plays the character i was trying to make a joke about, last year starred in a movie where the N word was used like candy. Give me a break !!

By the way, here's a painting I did a couple of weeks ago.. I referenced a pose from DCU online, but drew Affleck's face before I put the cowl on it, and just kinda made up the bits of the suit as I was drawing it.

Well, it seems to just simply be an issue of design and choreography. If you look at the past Batman films, Tron: Legacy, and even Watchmen (which based some suits on the past Batman films) you can see suits that seem superior to the Nolan suits in terms of movement.

Even so, I'd expect the cape to be CGI. And maybe more if they have Batman in some armored suit he uses for special occasions.

Well, knowing that the costume designer for the new "Batman" suit is the same man that was in charge on "Watchmen"... I think that we are going to get something along the lines of faithful with mobility. At least, I hope so... That same costume designer has hired the man behind the new Spider-Man suit and Electro suit as well to work with him on this. All sounds good .. Doesn't it?

The same guy that was involved with the new Spidey suit and Electro suit also was involved with the "Returns" cowl.. Along with the suits for "Forever" and "B&R". I have faith that we will be happy with the results to come.
