^agreed. This just solidifies it further for me though that we need the white eyes at some point in the film.

Great manip - it was done mostly well, except that ear issue IMO - looks so simple overall, but that's just it - it's just grainy and contrasted enough to make it look pretty darn believable for the most part!

This is clearly NOT the source image, but it's the most similar angle and you can see the clear similarities in the brow:

It might be real. The only real "debunk" is that it has the same brow as other live-action interpretations. Well, multiple versions use the brow. Just look at this image from the arkham game:

So it might be real. I am not seeing enough evidence to counteract that.

what i noticed is the shape of the left ear looks cut in a bad way...actually both seem cut down...maybe i just look way to much into it now ...cause before i thought it was not manipulated in anyway...

I like that black and white shot... Even if it is fake, to which I beleive. I am hoping for the shorter ears.. Black and grey suit..

Yeah, I thought along these lines too and posted an image a page or so back illustrating my point. I think the ears aren't the right perspective. the back ear needs to be lower that it is to work with the angle of the cowl and face. I too might be over analyzing it, but this is what made me feel its a fake.

Personally, I don't think the ears are going to wind up being that short.

I give it 2-1 odds we're going to get short ears on the cowl. Knowing Snyder's aesthetic tastes, he seems to prefer sort of sleek modernist designs for his superheros, from watchmen to MoS.

I can see him thinking the longer ears are too "retro" and again sort of go against a more sleek aerodynamic look for batman.

^I can see that reasoning. Also, with the strong rumor that the cowl would be inspired by the Noel version and also Jim Lee inspired, I think short ears are heavily favored...if those rumors are right , that is.

I just have to say that I dig this bat symbol. I hope that there's some sort of design or texture in the bat symbol for this movie. I'd love to see something unique.

^which Bat In the Sun shorts is that from? It's not from the Batman vs Deadpool...

edit: guess this was put on Bat int the Sun's Facebook page yesterday, with him saying "suit updates - thoughts?" Done by Reevz FX. That's why I can't find any other images of it I guess, because it hasn't been used in an actual short yet. The theory that the "leaked" image could just be this cowl, but taken from a screen shot and then manipped is kind of destroyed, since there aren't any videos to get a screen shot from - at least accessible by a fan anyway. Could have been done from an insider of the "Bat in the Sun" production camp, but who would go to those lengths?

Dude, somehow missed this. Yeah, love the eyes there! I think the thing that is bothering me the most is the nose - I'm just used to that sort of "beak" look, as weird as it is to think about it (and I think it's the first time I realized it). Anything that looks too human kind of freaks me out in the uncanney valley-effect sort of way (and the reference pic for the cowl had that in spades). I think if the nose were more of the triangle that a lot of cowls have, I'd consider that my fav. pic yet of the cowl!!!

Also, that "leaked" pic... yeah, pretty obviously fake for all of the reasons stated. But cool, nonetheless! I'd be totally happy with something like that.
