The weirdest thing is that no one has been able to find the source image. That does lend some credence to it being possibly real.

That's it! I'm pretty sure the manip must have been based on a Schumacher image or something.

But this is a perfect example of how a hoax is quickly uncovered - still no source image for this Affleck pic.

The new "leaked" pic is reversed, i.e., facing right (from the point of view of the observer) where the Raimi one faces left, but otherwise the angles are similar.

It's crazy that no combination of search terms including Batman, batsuit, raimi, fake, manip, photo etc turn it up. I'd love to see it again.

I even tried constraining the results to 2003-2005 but nothing. You just get a bunch of unrelated pages. I bet a google whiz could find the right search.

So I Googled search the photo. Nothing. There are no photos of it, like it, different sizes. Nothing. Just sent me back to here.

It does look similar.

That just proves that a lot of bat cowls look similar. They do. The Arkham Origins cowl could easily be manipped to look like the "leaked" one too. But unless you can find a pic at the same angle with the EXACT same lighting it doesn't mean a thing.

Actually, if the source image is from a VIDEO (that cowl is from the Deadpool vs batman fight) it wouldn't come up in image searches. I'm starting to think it could be that. I'm gonna watch that vid frame by frame.

You mean the easiest thing to change to make it match the rumours? Yeah.

But the brow sculpting is VERY similar.
