I love Jim Lee's work on Hush so much, I'm also liking Capullo's Batsuit, even though I'm not a huge fan of the New 52 design. Not too fond of Jim Lee's New 52 above, though. But I am warming up to the New 52 suit more. I hated it at first.

Y'all need to stop thinking of "trunks" as something that can only be a pair of drawers pulled over a pair of tights. The 'trunk' effect can be achieved quite easily without resorting to speedos.

Agreed, like I said above I have nothing against the trunks really, but the way I see it if Superman can't have the trunks, neither can Batman.

No-one's said it's "based on Jim Lee's suit design". Kevin smith said it had a Jim Lee influence (or feel, I can't remember the exact phrasing). They don't mean the same thing.

That pretty much probably just means "short ears". Jim Lee's Batman is just a regular Batman with short ears in a time when most people draw them longer. The suit itself will probably over all resemble Lee's Batman as much as it does dozens of others'.

I really love the guy, he's a hoot and love his fatman on batman podcast but..
he said he saw Ben Affleck in the suit (he didn't did he?)
He also said another day that that picture also had Superman in it so honestly I don't know what to believe..

Why would that be unbelievable? I'm sure pics like that exist.

It's not that bad, but I LOVE the Hush suit which is saying a lot because I'm completely against blue and grey...especially that shade of blue. It's too light.

The cowl is fantastic. It has just the right amount of aggression and intensity. Maybe that's my only issue with that New 52 cowl. It almost looks babyfaced in comparison.

He said Snyder showed him the picture on his phone after the Man of Steel special. I have no reason not to believe him.

Even if the suit is perfect WITH lenses people will continue to post manips for their preferred version for years to come, hoping Snyder and co will take notice for justice league.
