What if its just glowing white eyes and we don't even see the suit?

Does anybody here truly believe that the Bat-suit will feature trunks?

Right, it has nothing to do with what anyone wants or don't want. All signs point to Batman not having trunks.I don't think there is people really believe that, there is just no way. This is the Man of Steal team, the same team that removed Superman's trunk, there is just no way they will give Batman that.

No disrespect meant, but that makes absolutely no sense at all.
If Snyder was doing these films like Watchmen I could see Batman and Superman having trunks but he isn't. Maybe I lack imagination but I just don't see how trunks/the strong man uniform fits into the Man of Steel universe? I think you can be more faithful to the costume without trunks. I'm okay with dark grey and black and short ears but trunks would be odd in this particularly franchise IMHO.I don't, and quite frankly...I hope they get rid of the trunks. Many people here fail to realize that it's okay to leave things in the comics. They assume that trunks would automatically look good without exploring the potential of the design, and how it relates to the movie as a whole (see: Zack Snyder on eliminating Superman's trunks bc it didn't fit the tone of the film).
If the grandpa of superheroes doesn't get trunks in MOS, then there's no chance that Batman gets one.

I have a feeling that we'll see the trunks, based off of what Smith has said. Of course, it's my own reading of his words and the suit design could go either way. But the 'you have not seen this costume on film before' and the 'as a comic book fan' comments have me thinking that we'll see something that's more often seen in the comics.
But Snyder wanted trunks for MoS. He tried numerous iterations of the suit with the trunks, but couldn't get them to work aesthetically.

Wrong.
Zack Snyder said that he wanted, tried, and would've used the trunks (SEE: The numerous concepts of the MOS suit, including the final design), but the kryptonian origin they conceived for the suit didn't allow for it.
Now that said, what's to stop him from using them (or one of those concepts) this time around, since they are no longer bound by that origin/plot point?
Wrong.

Why would that be unbelievable? I'm sure pics like that exist.
And yours would be LetsteaseBatheadaboutthetrunksthingman.![]()
I'd be happy if we got something like this in SVB.

So the New 52 suit with a dark belt?If that emblem on the chest was changed to look more like Miller's TDKR black bat? I think that this pic will be very close to what we will see... And I am ok with that.
Wrong.

You're absolutely right! While we're at it, we should get rid of Superman's S, and Batman's Bat-emblem. I mean, both of those are silly looking. Why would anybody wear those on a modern suit? It's like you're pushing for something that would obviously be silly to one degree or another simply because that's how it's been drawn in the past.
