I didn't want to give away a secret but since the costume will be revealed soon, I can't believe no one has made the correct Bat Symbol on the costume. It's right in front of your eyes people.

I am under the same assumption..
And I too believe that we will see the finished results very soon...
Always interesting to ponder whether people on this forum truly "know" something? Or are simply pretending to be "in" the circle of knowledge?

Personally, I think that yes, we will see it very soon..
It will have short black ears..
There will be no trunks..
There will not be a rubbery feeling to the suit..
There will not be an armor approach to the suit, at least the main suit..
It will be an interpretation of the black and grey, with a big black bat on the chest. And a materialistic look to the suit's surface.

At least, I "think" that this is what we are in for.. Making assumptions on what we have heard, and judging by "who" is involved..
But I could be way off as well?
I think we will know pretty soon, and these boards are going to light up like the 4th of July.

Wow... that's kinda cool. Not hugely keen on the raggedy-ness of the cape at the bottom and the super chunky boots, but something similar to this would be pretty awesome IMO!

Or the Noel route.


Either way, we'll ge one of these if not full on trunks (which I believe we'll get).

With the exception of the chin being covered with the cowl, I like this. I would like a change from a totally black suit, but if they go with an all-black suit, this one is good.

This batsuit thread needs a little batsuit right now, so here's one I think is pretty much perfect:

I don't think it is. Well, not in movies anyways. I think we need more Gothic-inspired city backgrounds in batman movies after Nolan's trilogy didn't feature it that much.

Is it just the trunks people don't like about that suit? Or are there other things? I don't think the trunks look too bad in that picture and everything else looks good to me. A trunkless version would look just as good I think.

I don't see how that suit is any different from scores of different manips/pics discussed here...It's just a plain old batsuit. There's nothing unique or outstanding about it that warrants discussion, imho. Good eye-candy, though.

It's because it looks like a man in a halloween costume, or a wrestler. Personally I'd like to see something similar to Captain America's stealth suit in TWS. It doesn't look like armour (like TDK), but it does look practical and like it would offer some protection from hand-to-hand combat etc. While I see no need whatsoever for trunks on a superhero suit, the overall practicality seems more important. By that I mean I'd rather prefer a TWS style suit with trunks, over a skin tight classic Batman suit without trunks.

When people refer to Cap's "stealth" suit, is this the one they're referring to?

I think this is a great suit for Cap and I wouldn't mind a batsuit with some of these elements, but I disagree about trunks looking better on something like this than on a skin tight suit. I don't think trunks would work on something like this at all. If they use something like this, it should be trunkless. This type of suit just isn't made to have trunks on it, which is fine because I don't think trunks are required either.

I see. I was just wondering if the trunks were what turned a couple people off about that suit. Some people have some strong feeling about them, lol.

I also prefer when a cowl is shown from the front to be slender? That in a profile shot there is a hint of where the ears would be.. Bruce's ears that is.. Or at least some space for them to be considered..
