No trunks.
Also, doing that, you might as well just take Zod's suit from his corpse since that's exactly what it would look like.
Just goes to show you, it helps if the right person is wearing the suit. I've always thought that suit would have looked a lot less cheesy if some built like that had worn it. Just give him a plain black bat, and a cylinder utility belt, and we'd have a real-life version of Dick Sprang's Batman.
EDIT: Maybe one of you talented photomanipulators can give that a shot?
Could someone please do a photoshop manip of the new superman/batman logo so as to just have the batman logo so we can get a good look at what it looks like? Thanks in advance

The body proportion looks off, but I know it's because of the base image.
I'd like something like this.

Thanks. Glad you liked it.Alex Spider, I actually think that your take is quite impressive! (post #128)
. . . very dark image overall, and the 'trunks' don't look at all out of place.

I like the cowl, belt, gloves and the boots. I like that kind of cape, but I don't like it connected to the bat on his chest.
The trunks look like crap, and while I know you're going for a fabric texture, I don't think the one you chose works right. I like the minimal seam lines you chose. I could do without the white eyes.
* And grey.Honestly, take Superman's suit from MoS, make it black*, give him Batman's accessories and you'd have a pretty kickass Batsuit, lol.
I recently had an idea that maybe Bruce could have different versions of the Batsuit for different functions. Like if he's planning to encounter a lot of gunfire and explosions, he has a more armor-plated outfit; if he's just out to intimidate someone or get information, he has an outfit that accentuates his shadows and makes him look less human. You don't need to take it as far as the Silver Age comics did, but just the practical stuff would be an interesting change-up.

Blue and grey. With the oval. And briefs.
Okay, I'm willing to be flexible on the briefs.
