I think something that's almost certainly going to be common knowledge and featured in the trailers is not a spoiler.

Maybe maybe not.

Batman hasn't still been officially announced as an actual character in the film.

I wouldn't be surprised if he doesn't appear until probably trailer #2, the teaser will certainly just want to feature more on the main cast.

Either way I think with all these leaked pics especially of Batman the novelty of being surprised even by the trailer has been greatly tempered.

I think Star Wars 7 did it right by keeping their sets locked down.

wow! more from Batman suit! GREAT!

0:34... and that my friends is the turniest of head turns!

I see some washed out bronze on the fins and knuckles too, but it is so barely noticeable that they look like steel or even black, depending on the lighting. It is definitely nowhere near that bright, in-your-face cosplay's bronze.
This is the correct assessment.

yup. Just cover the head with your hand and imagine this standing on the side of the building. If it weren't for the mouth opening, you'd definitely mistake it for a statue.

The. God. Damned. Batman!

When people first started talking about it, I said that if it was true it would probably be so dark and tarnished as to barely be noticeable, especially in night-time lighting.

I said the same thing.

But people just imagined gaudy bright bronze gold and thought it couldn't possibly true.

The cosplayers who attempted to replicate the look from what they heard got it wrong, and I still see people saying they think it's completely black and just reflecting "bronze light" or whatever, but it's time to accept that there was/is a basis of truth in what they were saying.

It IS subtle, but those bits do have a bronze tint. The people who made those claims were right, and saying "well you can barely tell" is kind of weaseling out of admitting that.

I still think the knuckles don't look bronze at all. The gauntlet blades are questionable at best. In the picture you used as an example there is a subtle reddish light on Batman (you can see it bouncing off other areas of his suit as well). The belt is more definitively a tarnished bronze, but the knuckles and blades seem to be distinctly different.

I wouldn't want it any other way, but damn this suit would also look great with an '89 make-over - all black, Keaton emblem, Keaton belt, boots & gloves, and a sleeker, more flexible version of the Keaton cowl.

Personally, I have no desire to see that. The Keaton suits had their time.

Does anyone know what the suits material is? cause I cant figure it out. Some Parts look like sculpted rubber(abs chest) and others like something similar to spandex only thicker.

So muscular. So organic. So wrinkly. Much lighter grey than I'd expect. Not at all what I would have gone for, but I can't say I don't love it.

It just makes most of the previous suits look silly or at the very least misguided. Except for the 89 one. That one and this are the most similar to eachother, it's like the new suit is fulfilling the promise of the original Keaton one.

That would be rad as hell.

Could look at this suit all day.

I've been waiting to see this thing since the early nineties. I feel profoundly vindicated.
And the dogma of the all black cinematic batsuit profoundly refuted.

I don't mean I want to see it in a movie. But wouldn't you like to just see what it would look like with someone walking around in a suit like that, just for the hell of it? Just as a what-if thing?

Instead of making fun of Bale's Batman suit, let's embrace the rich, on-screen history of the Batman and acknowledge that everything that came before -- both the good and the bad -- has led us to this moment in which we are witnessing a live action Batsuit of the upmost quality.
Nah.

Yeah baby!

I personally have no such desires, as I always hated Burton's black and yellow batsuit. But to each their own, of course.

^ "A Batmare on Elm Street"

I'd totally get the s%#@ scared out of me if the Bat-suit was used in the horror genre. That suit is terrifying.

I mean maybe post the pics with spoiler tags?

I just feel like I've seen almost everything from this movie already and its still a year out.

You've seen filming that will make up maybe 3 or 4 scenes total from SS with no context as to what's actually happening in those scenes, why it's happening, or when it's happening. Virtually nothing about the plot has been spoiled, other than the fact that Batman shows up and plays some kind of role.

I'm going to bow out of the BvS and SS forums when/if real plot points are spoiled (either by pictures or "inside info"), but you might want to bow out now if you don't want to see any more pictures like these.

It's an homage. :o

In my mind, Snyder is the biggest fan of BF and B&R, but since he already put nipples on Ozymandias, he knew it wouldn't fly for Superman and Batman after that reaction. He gave in to the fan complaints!
