I'm beginning to worry that we haven't heard from them for a while.
I'm not sure about BatScot but The Guard was just commenting on The Joker last week. Even had a PM conversation with him about it.

Batstuntfleck, with his batbuttocks raised high, pulls the batcutter from his batbelt and cuts a bathole in the Notbatmobile.

I just had an aneurism.

I made a mistake of trying to pronounce that. Excuse me while I go to defibrillate my tongue.

Congrats!

Every time I see this gnarly suit I hate that they again opted out of white pupils.
damnnnnn, they were so close to perfection.

Instead of making fun of Bale's Batman suit, let's embrace the rich, on-screen history of the Batman and acknowledge that everything that came before -- both the good and the bad -- has led us to this moment in which we are witnessing a live action Batsuit of the upmost quality.

The first suit turned Batman into a dark badass that was needed to go beyond the Adam West depiction. It provided some realism in the form of armor.

Batman Returns refined the suit and gave us a nice bat logo.

The Panther suit takes the Keaton suit design to it's maximum potential. It is stylish while maintaining function. The nipples though while not an eyesore were the beginning of a dark time.

The Sonar Suit was a great design and changed up the dynamic. Introduced the giant Bat logo some of very much like. But alas it also represented greed.

Minus the nipples, it's not a bad suit but the nipple were there and prominent. I believe it took the sculptural build too far. The Winter suit was just the sonar suit with a bunch of crap on it............sad days.

But luckily it showed us Batman's limits.

A new approach was needed. The Begins suit took what was learned before the brought it forward. The giant bat logo for one. Shorter ears and a more animal/bestial design. The cape became a new weapon in his arsenal. Then just the size of it all.

The TDK suit totally redesigned things. The focus was on speed, agility, flexibility.......moving ones neck. Bat symbol sucked.... Also this suit is a mixture of black and grey as well.

And now Snyders turn.

Random question for those of you who have been here a while.

Who was the poster that made that hilarious "pre-Nolan/post-Nolan" manip where he took a Jim Lee illustration, drew a bunch of scribbles over it, and then made the neck extremely skinny?

Ring a bell with anyone?

The batsuit isn't as bright as I thought. It's going to to look great on screen. I'm sort of digging how it looks like skin. The only thing that would have made it better is longer ears.

Oh, not to burst bubbles, but Joker has earrings too lol.

I see some washed out bronze on the fins and knuckles too, but it is so barely noticeable that they look like steel or even black, depending on the lighting. It is definitely nowhere near that bright, in-your-face cosplay's bronze.

I'm still not seeing it, but it really doesn't matter either way. The suit is still awesome.

It is very hard to catch and if it's so hard to notice, it could be pink for all I care. No one would notice it at all if our attention wasn't focused on that by those cosplayers. The suit is perfection.

By the way, am I the only one that gets a bit of "Batman Begins" batsuit vibe with this one? I think it's due to huge build and bulkiness of the neck.

I like how it looks like cloth. You can see the wrinkles on it around his shoulders. It's a nice touch.

Keep in mind that you are the mercy at the photographer. They are filming at the end of the day if not the night. Your own monitor might also be making it look dark. There is a huge contrast between the black parts of the suit and the grey parts.

And I love that the huge contrast between black and gray is so apparent. Been 25 years to get to this moment.

I think calling it "bronze" is a bit of a misnomer as it's so tarnished and subtle that it's barely noticeable.

When people first started talking about it, I said that if it was true it would probably be so dark and tarnished as to barely be noticeable, especially in night-time lighting.

But people just imagined gaudy bright bronze gold and thought it couldn't possibly true.

The cosplayers who attempted to replicate the look from what they heard got it wrong, and I still see people saying they think it's completely black and just reflecting "bronze light" or whatever, but it's time to accept that there was/is a basis of truth in what they were saying.

It IS subtle, but those bits do have a bronze tint. The people who made those claims were right, and saying "well you can barely tell" is kind of weaseling out of admitting that.

So muscular. So organic. So wrinkly. Much lighter grey than I'd expect. Not at all what I would have gone for, but I can't say I don't love it.

It just makes most of the previous suits look silly or at the very least misguided. Except for the 89 one. That one and this are the most similar to eachother, it's like the new suit is fulfilling the promise of the original Keaton one.

I wouldn't want it any other way, but damn this suit would also look great with an '89 make-over - all black, Keaton emblem, Keaton belt, boots & gloves, and a sleeker, more flexible version of the Keaton cowl.

Certainly. My monitor is well adjusted btw. I was thinking that the suit was very light in color. Though, after watching video footage, it doesn't take much for me to tell how the suit will look in certain lighting situations.

Hey so not to be the wet blanket but should there not be some rule with regards to the pics as spoilers?

I mean the suit looks cool but the fact that Batman is in SS and is involved in what is probably the main action sequence of that movie involving Joker's car is kinda ruined to an extent.

I mean maybe post the pics with spoiler tags?

I just feel like I've seen almost everything from this movie already and its still a year out.
