Carmine referred to him as Scarecrow at least once.

Not the same context. He wasn't referring specifically to Crane as the Scarecrow, he referred to the "externalised tormentor, in this case a scarecrow".

Gordon referred to Harvey as "Harvey Two-Face" upon request

Again, different context: "Remember the name you all had for me when I was at Internal Affairs? What was it, Gordon?"

Nobody called him Two-Face once he reached the conclusion of his descent to villainy.

I don't recall Selina ever being referred to as "Catwoman" in a similar manner, nor were there any references to that name.

No, there wasn't but there is no contextual issues with it. Bruce only knows her as Selina Kyle, thus, he only refers to her as Selina Kyle. But there are several mentions of the word "cat".

They do call her a cat burglar at some point if I remember correctly.

What does any of this have to do with the new Batsuit? Topic is getting derailed.

Ok, let's get this back on topic. Kevlar or spandex?

That tormentor being Crane. Therefore, Crane was Scarecrow and was referred to as such.

Harvey forced Gordon to call him Harvey Two-Face. Harvey was referred to by someone as Two-Face at a point where he looked like (and pretty much already was) Two-Face. The name was referenced.

"Catwoman" was not referenced at all.

No, there wasn't but there is no contextual issues with it.

The issue is that it seemed like the creative team went out of their way to avoid calling her "Catwoman" when they didn't do the same for any of the other villains.

Found this, havent seen it before:

I like the cowl design on that!

I kinda would like to get away from his suit as being obvious armour. The thigh guards look particularly horrible.

Well, its just something i found on google imagesearch. Thankfully. I dont really like it either.

We all know which head he was using to think in this case and ain't the one with a brain inside it...

Or perhaps he was using his brain. He just didn't want Catwoman to look similar to Batman with Cowl and pointy ears. Casual fans are more familiar with the 60s tv show, and comic book nerds are going to watch the movie anyway.

If that was seriously a concern of his, I...really don't know what to say.

The thing that I hated about the Injustice game design was the "chin-strap" look. I know Batman has worn cowls that ome up and over his chin before, but I dislike the design, I hope they don't use that.
