Always been a fan of the darker sorta desaturated blue for bats, I do prefer grey and black, but blue can look pretty sweet.
I've heard people say similar things before, and I always wondered why anyone would actually want that. Most of the problems they had with the rubber suits would still exist; there would just be a fabric layer over the "ugly" stuff.
Also: that manip looks pretty good, but I would darken the blue a tad.
Sorry, I was just thinking out loud. I quoted your post because it reminded me of other posts I've seen in the past and was sort of relevant to what I was saying. I wasn't calling you out or anything.t:
In fact, this image have made me re-think the possibility of the colour blue being included. I just assumed that black and grey was the ultimate.
But this...is...![]()
i couldn't tell this is the batsuit thread anymore lol.
This pic is pretty cool, i think it shows how drastically different (infinitely superior) it looks with a simple fabric/mesh layer on top of the armor.

Short of being on the costume production team, I can almost say with 100% certainly that we're not getting blue and gray.
Black and gray(maybe a very dark gray)? Probably. Blue and gray? No way in hell.
Blue can be done on Batman if it's done correctly. The Arkham games used a blue hue in their cape/cowl and it worked. The DCAU (and various other animated productions) used blue as the highlight color, indicating that the cape/cowl were "really" an incredibly dark blue that only looked black most of the time. Even Nolan's cowl has quite a bit of blue in it when the light hits it right.Short of being on the costume production team, I can almost say with 100% certainly that we're not getting blue and gray.

my brother's nephew's cousin's former roommate, who is working on the production team, says it's multi-colored. and will be a game changer.

There wasnt a single nipple on this [frick]ing suit man.
I do love this image, but made just a few little tweaks that I thought were needed. I shortened the ears by 25%, cleaned up the eyes a bit, darkened the blue a bit, darkened the grey, and thinned up the neck just a bit also. I don't mind the utility belt shown too much, but would love if they did a totally different look (old school pouches maybe?). Overall a pretty fun picture! I'd be okay with a dark blue and grey suit.

Personally, I preferred the blue and grey original.
