Or perhaps he was using his brain. He just didn't want Catwoman to look similar to Batman with Cowl and pointy ears. Casual fans are more familiar with the 60s tv show, and comic book nerds are going to watch the movie anyway.

I don't see he could come to that train of thought given how different the characters look.

I don't see he could come to that train of thought given how different the characters look.

I also don't think his point about the 60s show is true anymore. The general public is probably more familiar with the Burton/Schumacher films now, when it comes to "old Batman films". I would wager most people think of Pfeiffer's Catwoman first when they hear the name.

Because it doesn't match up with what Kevin Smith said.."I saw the costume, more than that, I saw him [Ben Affleck] in the costume. I don't want to give anything away, but I am going to say this... I instantly bear hugged [Snyder].

You have not seen this costume in film before. Because every other movie has done this Matrixy black armor thing. There wasn't a single nipple on this suit.

I think everyone is gonna be like 'Holy *****!' We haven't been down this path before. Even the hardest core '***** this movie' person will be like 'alright, I'm ready!'"

That is by a HUGE landslide the single worst batsuit ever designed, and I mean it, there's no contest, I'd rather they bring back Clooney's suit from the end of B&R than see that thing on film.
