Sorry, I just feel a few roles should have been proven well known A listers.
This isn't an unknown property like gotg.
This film has had several past failures, And has a lot to overcome. It needs al the help it can get.

On the positive side, Gunn has yet to make a film I haven't liked.

No, it isn’t. Which is why I don’t think you need to drop huge figures for A-listers in comparatively minor roles, like Gunn did with John C. Reilly and Glenn Close in GOTG.

Superman is an up-and-comer (with Hawkgirl also falling into that category), Lex has been around the block in terms of blockbusters for the last decade and a half, and Lois is an Emmy winner. Some of the supporting cast are lesser known than I was expecting, but it just tells me Gunn is making the movie he wants to make. Big names are hardly a recipe for success anymore.

Nice to finally see the daily planet rounding out the cast, even if they don't get that much screen time, but it builds out the world which is nice.

Plus, bonus points for using comic book characters.
