Hmm. I just noticed that Paige Mobley, another rumored candidate for Cat Grant, liked Gunn's casting announcement for Lombard. Interesting.

I love Beck Bennett as Lombard. The dude is hilarious. I still think that one of the funniest SNL skits I’ve seen in a long time was the one with him and Jason Momoa where Jason is the dad meeting his daughter’s boyfriend for the first time and Beck is the boyfriend who thinks that it would be good to impress him by playing hide and seek.

They're looking for extras to play police officers, military, fire department, EMT and paramedics on June 24th. They have several other dates looking for police officer extras including June 28, July 3, 8, and July 18 in Cincinatti.

Angela Boehm Casting Facebook page. She's in charge of recruiting extras for the Ohio portion of filming. I clicked the link on her page and it had a form with a list of filming dates involving police officers and military. Seems like June 24th is going to be a big scene full of extras involving police, military, firefighters, and paramedics.

Anyway, LOVE Bennet as Steve Lombard. I know he won’t have much screentime but dude’s hilarious - he’ll make it count.

My first thought was Lara. Someone pointed out awhile back that she and Corenswet have the same eyes.

Yeah, I've seen a few different people make that observation, but Sarafyan's eyes are actually blue hazel (they're very distinct looking, IMO). David's eyes are just blue.

She could be Lara, though.

I'm still not counting on her actually playing anyone. A lot was said about Patrick Schwarzenneger being followed by Gunn and other cast members and nothing came of that. And the fact she seems to follow pretty much anybody judging by her massive follow list makes me not take it as seriously either, but we'll see.

Using "follows" as a way to try and figure things out always baffles me. People do it with sports as well. Sometimes people just start following people...it doesn't always mean what fans think it means.
