Im really shocked that GUnn & WB havent released official photos of Terrific/HG/GG before they took them to film in the public.

I try my best not to upset either side on here, but sooo many people are complaining about the suits (although I think people are warming up a bit more to this Superman suit) but one thing the Snyder movies proved to me, is a superhero movie can have the coolest looking suit(s), but if the characters and story lack, it most likely won't be remembered as fondly. I would say TDK has one of the weakest Batman suits, but it's widely regarded as a top tier CBM. I think people really didn't like Daredevil's red suit from Season 1, but it's regarded as a top tier comic book tv show as well.

-And obviously the Snyder movies have diehard fans, but it definitely didn't strike a chord with the general audience like DC/WB probably wanted it to.

Also, I agree with everyone here saying Guy/Hawkgirls suits look like Lordtech/corporate superhero costumes. I think we see them possibly in more comic book accurate suits down the road, or even by the end of the movie.

Honestly starting to get the impression he wouldn’t have even released the official photo he did if WB’s Upfronts folks hadn’t demanded it for their presentation lol.

I doubt he’d be remotely bothered by the reactions to these suits, though, as they’re obviously supposed to look silly.

I really don't think would have changed anything, as people are upset that they're matching leather jackets.

Well, I was expecting something a little less... leathery.
It's meta commentary about how capitalism is forcing unnecessary changes to how the public should perceive superheroes. :fancy:

It isnt about getting people to like or dislike them as it is more about showing them in a light that you want them to be seen in along with controlling the narrative, and creating easy buzz.

Easy way to drive clicks to websites/sells for magazines (that still exist)

Well, they tried to "control the narrative" with the official Superman picture, and reaction was mixed at best, while the papparazzi pictures have received far more acclaim.

(I really hope I'm not coming off as confrontive here)

Like others have already stated, I really hope that there's a legit narrative purpose behind the costumes we saw today. I also hope that we see the other heroes wear more classic attire before the end of the film.

It would really suck to see the other heroes be stucked with these costumes for most/the entire film. I can't imagine James Gunn really being that naive enough to think anyone would like these costumes.

Thought Guy Gardner would be a red head. Not surprised. So...Gardner and Hawkgirl are wearing the same logo on their chest? I don't know what it is. Anyone?
