Agreed. The fallout will be ugly for a while but I 100% endorse all of this! And if JJ is only producing then I will literally do a happy dance because I really dont want him directing!

Coates being part of it just makes me even more excited!

The Hype is kinda anti anything related to Snyder, but if we get Calvin Ellis as the main Supes I hope Cavill's Supes is still there on another universe (main DCEU) and somehow brought through mulitverse shenanigans for a cameo or minor role. It wouldn't bother me thoughh if this is just a solo.

I hope they bring Cavill back as I think he deserves some quality Superman time.

If they dont which is likely ill be disappointment but itll be what itll be. Though I wonder what we'll get....surely they wont do an origin story again...so a semi established Supes with a Lois who isnt aware of who he is will likely be the route.

When I first read the news, I crossed my fingers for a Golden Age/early New 52 version. But, seeing the news about MBJ (and knowing he was talking about Calvin Ellis), I'm cool with it if that's the route they're going.

Im the opposite. We do have 2 somewhat established black Supermen, if you want to do a Black Superman then this is the perfect opportunity to introduce them to the larger world.
