My only nitpick for my personal taste is how the cape connects and hangs in the back. I wish it would of fit snug around the back of his neckline. Nothing major though.

I grew up a Batman fan - and I kinda hated Superman. I thought he was boring, overpowered, not as cool, etc.

But in the last few years - I've come around to him a lot. He's bright, colourful, idealistic, hopeful. I really am rooting for this film. Superman needs a win, badly. I feel like the only things he's been apart of have either not done well or made him evil.

I think in today's world, we need a little colourful, hopeful heroism for a change.

I never hated Supes, always thought he was a sweetheart. Just hated the recent people in charge’s perception of him.

Well, this was a nice surprise to come home to.
Before I get to Superman, I just want to say how awesome Mr. Terrific looks. It's a simple look to achieve, but one that can easily look cheap. The only thing I may have done differently is shorten his hair somewhat.

Now Superman
-The colors are undoubtedly the best thing about this suit and dare I say...perfect.
-I don't know why the collar on the reveal photo was so different, but the set photo collar is an upgrade over the turtle neck. I still wish the collar was more open, but this is much more tolerable.
-I'm overjoyed the cape has the emblem back, It's always been one of my favorite things about the Superman classic design.
- I don't mind the suit material, but I do wish the suit fitted a bit more snugly on the body.
- The suit indeed does have way too many lines imo and I hope the designers will consider minimizing those in the future.
-I like that the belt is straight across the waist and not doing the now common "v" dip. I do wish the buckle was oval.
-I can't help wishing Gunn would've gone with a more traditional \S/ design, but I'll manage.

Overall a solid suit and I think it's going to shine on screen.

Oh, and David himself looks great. Can't wait to see him in Clark Kent garb.

Straight out of the comics. Although I think Gunn is doing his own thing, I actually think he listened to DC fans when it comes to putting these characters on the big screen. Look at David’s smile. That is Superman and Mr. Terrific is straight out of the comics. I was afraid we were getting that corny character from CW. Edi appears to be comic accurate and looks great. Really want to see Hawkgirl and Lantern.

Finally! A full suit reveal. It’s pretty…underwhelming. It looks exactly like a deflated football if he’s not standing perfectly still. I get the feeling that this film will be pretty campy. Maybe something like Batman Forever. Though, this is a film for you Supes fans. Most of you seem pretty excited. I see a few things that were highly requested for the suit has finally made a comeback, so it seems like things are going the way many of you want. Hopefully, it keeps turning out that way. I’m even more anxious to hear the theme now.

I feel JG is going to surprise on the weighty moments and will follow through with elements that may push on the darker side. That said, only in contrast to the inevitable upbeat notion of what this version is going to be riding on for the majority of this era. I do hope a nice balance will be struck.

There's a good amount of classic old timers that hate the overall bagginess of the fit and materials. I'm trying to pay more attention to those groups than the hardcore's on either side of the now and then to get the right temperature. It's kind of mixed that is tilting towards those liking it, most notably the yellow S as the deciding factor (more-so than the trunks from what I'm seeing).

I'm perfectly fine that the suit is not completely skintight, it was very obvious that it limited Cavill's movement.

The collars (and eyebrows) are DEFINITELY different.

No one is saying the eyebrows aren't different...they were bleached in the other picture. What I am saying is that doesn't mean there is some clone of Superman or Ultraman running around.

This reminds me of the people who thought the Superman in the BvS trailer who is kneeling before Lex all angry was Bizarro because his hair was off and he was scowling.

This is the new norm. You're going to see a lot of fans tearing this apart because the DC fandom is divided into many subdivisions. There's plenty of different circles to engage in who are excited for Gunn's take. Twitter or forum fights aren't worth the wet blanket. We've done that enough over the years.

In the set photos, the front of the collar opening is about level with the cape attachment piping. In the reveal photo the front of the collar is clearly much higher.

I am not a costume detail guy...it is hard for me to notice that stuff unless it is pointed out. Doesn't make much sense that they would change it though unless they already had multiple versions right? (asking honestly)
