Much like how Cillian Murphy made a very one dimensional character in Inception interesting.
The same goes for Eames. That character could have been a complete bore had it not been for Tom Hardy.

The reviewer also says Hathaway blows Pfeiffer out of the water

Link me up for the hell of it...

:pal:

I hardly surprised TBH, but that's just me being a fan of Nolan. :P

I'm slightly surprised. I mean, I thought it would be great, but didn't know it could surpass TDK for some people. Was expecting it to be in between BB and TDK.

According to every review, Nolan topped himself yet again. TDKR is being called his best work (and that speaks volumes considering his filmography includes Inception, The Dark Knight, Batman Begins, The Prestige, Insomnia and Memento).

His character was only one of the couple of characters in Inception that WASN'T two dimensional.

-Does the football game bombing come off as bad as some fear cause of the trailer shot of the player running without dropping the ball and the ground breaking up?

Some shots look like it could be a great&memorable scene But other shots look pretty lame to me!

-Is there slow-mo or something that shows Bane&Bats brutally punching or using objects(gadgets or weapons)on each other?

-Does this movie actually feel like a Batman movie&closer to the comics in terms of characters/story/vibe&action?

I love TDK But it just don't feel much like a Batman thing,BB does But TDK..Just No!!

-Is there an amazing Batman shot?..As amazing as my avatar gif from BB!?

If you say it's so, Shape, then I'm really believing it is true. You're a fan of Pfeiffer's Catwoman, too, aren't you?

To an extent, yeah. Grew up with her and Burton's films, but as I grew older, I realized how wacky that interpretation of the character really is...especially compared to what Nolan has given us now.

Spot on, IMO.

You'll see.

I won't... Michelle's performance was practically Oscar worthy. Frankly shes just below Heath in the Bat-villian stakes.

I'm sorry Shape, but its a combination of me liking how Burton does things and these Pfeiffer-goggles.

Just read the review. Typical dig, meh.

Pfeiffer was fantastic. Better than Nicholson for those movies. But it's an "out there" version of the character. And a bit silly for my tastes. It's not really Selina Kyle or Catwoman enough for me. It's just not what i consider the character to be. But it's great nonetheless.

I'm bloody beyond the ozone layer hyped now.

Great in its own right. This, to me, is better.

Anne ftw.

How were the extras? Are they better than the ones from TDK? Are there any classics like, "THINGS R WURSE DEN EVUR!"?

shape, how was Gotham visually this time around?

Kept the look of sleek realism that was established in TDK, but things look much more grim as the film goes on, especially as the subterranean levels underneath the city are explored.

Has anyone commented on the pacing of the film? Does it feel like a long movie?
