I was actually thinking about the same thing. I was under the assumption that one of the show's producers had stated that they would actually address the whole issue on where the prisoners get their food or go to for toilet reasons, but so far, they haven't.

Plus, as someone else pointed out, it is kind of cruel to keep them all there without actually putting them through a legitimate trial and such.

Plus, solitary confinement is awful for people. I hope there's some kind of massive entertainment system for them to accommodate the complete loneliness of isolation.

Yeah I find this very weird.

It's clearly inhuman prison conditions, they are for forever in very very small room, a prison sentence of life without parole in front of a court, no fair trial, no televison, no books, no visitors, no others clothes :wow:
Hope they give more explanation about this and change, the way it works.

Especially when you consider the latest villain. She didn't really do anything horrible. I mean she stole enough money for her boyfriend and punched Barry a few times but she isn't exactly a mass murderer

Heck, I think the people in North Korea have better rights than the Metahumans in Star Labs's prison, and that's saying a lot.lol

This is gonna be a painful episode in hindsight if they go down the Killer Frost route...

Everyone's talking about Grodd, and while yes that was awesome, I think the best moment of the episode is when Henry pretty much tells Barry he knows he's the Flash.

Awesome episode!

Actually, really awesome episode. My only minor quibble was the treatment of Peek-a-boo since she wasn't really a "baddie" and didn't seem to deserve being locked in a tiny cell, without food, water, a bathroom or entertainment for the rest of her life. I wish someone in Team Flash had mentioned an intention to rehabilitate her or to develop a "cure" so that she could be released and tried for her crimes in an ordinary court of law.

Yeah that was my favorite bit too. It was a great callback to when Henry made eye contact with The Flash and could clearly see his son under the cowl before Barry started to vibrate and blur his face. It was the first scene on the show to actually make me kinda choke up. Very well played.

I'm glad to see Henry knows his son is The Flash, great episode in developing Dr. Snow further . I like seeing a tease of Firestorm's origin. Linda Park with Barry Allen before Wally West ……

Tease of Grodd nice

LOVED this episode. Love this series in general. The characters in this show are just so damn likable and relatable. They feel like real people and their chemistry with each other is just incredible. Its like they're all good friends in real life. This is something I think Arrow needs to learn from.

I swear this show makes my eyes get watery at least once an episode. The Barry - Joe scenes and Barry - his father scenes really get to me sometimes lol.

I love reading these forums after an episode airs because it's so funny to see everyone's ridiculous gripes with each episode. Seriously 3 pages of complaints about how Barry can be touched or hit by anyone, his clothes not bursting into flames, and meta human decency in prison. Yeesh..

I think one of the reasons why this show is enjoyed by a lot of mans, more so than Arrow for some...is because of the amount of "heart" that it presents with its characters.

I can't think of anything within recent memory, for example, of Arrow having realistic/genuine heartfelt scenes like the ones that Barry has had with Joe and his dad.

I personally love how they treat criminals in this show. They know The justice system will fail them so they bypass/ignore it. Just one sign that Barry will develop and mature into the SpeedPunisher character I've always wanted to see.

:o

lol; yeah, I would definitely agree the show's real weakest point, at the moment, is the whole routine of locking every meta human who commits a crime into the prison cell located underneath Star Labs without any form of a legit court hearing.

For the murderers, I don't mind this too much. But, for characters like Pied Piper and Peek-a-boo, it's a little more concerning.

Now that The Flash is publicly known, this may create a greater public awareness of metahumans in general and maybe STAR labs will team with the authorities to create an "official" prison (and holding/transport arrangements) for metahuman criminals so that they can be given a fair trial? It could be part of Wells' continued attempts to improve the reputation of STAR labs after the explosion (as well as ensuring that he has access to the metahumans for his secret, nefarious purposes).

Pied-Piper had murderous intentions, hurling cars with people in them.

What a fantastic episode. Feeling the magic of the show again.

Caitlin and Barry scenes were great, Peek-a-boo's powers were pretty awesome to watch and the Grodd stinger at the end was amazing.

The Flash continues to go strong, and I can't wait to see what more it has in store for us.

I love that he respected Barry keeping his secret.

That happens all over the Hype.

You know we only frequent comic-cons you ****.

:cmad: :csad:

Lol. I usually hit the clubs and the hotspots. When you live in LA its kinda a prerequisite :word:. Here all the women look like Iris, Caitlin, and Linda:hrt:.

I made a joke awhile ago after that "Mist" guy was locked up about how Cisco and Catlin had to pull double duty washing down the prisoner's cells in their star lab lockup.. i never imagined that would be real talk about the living conditions of those dudes! i would rather see the interaction between Barry's dad and barry then Peek-a-book wanting more toilet paper!:cwink:

and actually like someone mentioned i think it's a great plot line that some one is going to release all thier asses to run amok which in turn will get General eling involved to create his own super-prison to then experiment on all their asses and that whole CADUMS/ Amanda Waller thing! which will be COOL!!
those mofo's are supervillians! hahah they dont deserve any due process or Toilet paper when they are suffocating your ass changing into fog and &*
( plus its a just tv show! i dont need to see villains in the shower) maybe Peek- a- boo though.. she was kinda hot!:woot:

How much of that is injected into their face and/or **** though, bro? :o

I won't get on my high horse and pretend I'm picky, Chicago has its share of that.

Yeah. Especially considering that Pied Piper isn't even a metahuman... he's just a genius with a hearing problem.

I also wonder how these prisoners shower, go to the bathroom, eat, etc. The show makes it seem like the heroes just lock them in there and forget about them.

I'm hoping that's "instead of" and not "before". If/when they do introduce Wally I'm assuming he'll be a teenager. No need for Linda to rob the cradle.
