The Flash The Flash General Discussion and Speculation Thread - - Part 11

Now that Superman and Lois are in the crossover, I've lost interest to see Batwoman appear.

Hopefully we'll get a proper Superman vs Flash race. If Flash is to win though, he'll probably need Iris to inspire and cheer him on.

Superman and Lois haven't dimmed my excitement for Batwoman. It's just put me on overload!

And c'mon, we can't have just half of the Flash!:o

This is the most accurate guesstimate for the crossover:

Lol, that's true that we'll probably end up with that.

Who is that man in the glasses and funny red hat or cycling helmet in the 2nd panel?

I wonder if Lois is going to point to Clark and tell Iris: "We are Superman."

They’re saving that for next year’s crossover with Wonder Woman. I can see it already.
Steve Trevor to Diana: you’re not Wonder Woman. We are.

They need a crossover with Iris, Felicity, Lois, Steve and Batwoman's girlfriend. They can all show up and claim to be the main hero.

Supergirl doesn't seem to have a permanent other half.

But they already do that in every ep...

I meant without the actual heroes. Just have the other halves and they can pass it off as having a crossover with the actual heroes. They can save money that way.

Felicity and Iris give awesome pep talks to their partners, which in the eyes of the writers makes them heroes.

42 days away. I might have to rewatch some of the previous seasons because I'm in desperate need of a Flash fix.

That stills sounds like every ep to me. Seriously, when's the last time Barry was an actual superhero and not just a prop for Iris or the team?

CW: turning superheroes into props and shoehorning love interests into "heroes" since 2012.

And the CW continues their reign of horrible photoshop. I don't believe any of those 3 people were at any point in a room at the same time during the making of this poster, lol.

What's the difficulty with photographing 3 people standing together at the same time? How hard can that be?

lol because they don't believe in taking new Promo pictures of anyone if they dont have to especially group pictures. Not sure why that died with TVD.

Yeah, that just doesn't look right at all! :funny:

I think Riverdale gets new photos if I'm not mistaken.

Anyway, someone whom handles the press for The Flash, said a while back all 3 took a photo together. However, it can be that poster as that photo is from season 1 of Grant.

Both Grant Gustin and Stephen Amell want to interact with Superman so they’re getting their wish in the crossover. I can see a Super Speed race like the one from Superman TAS.

Honestly I never thought I would see Stephen Amell's Green Arrow interact with Superman and I'm genuinely excited to see how Oliver reacts to Superman. I think they will do a Super speed race between Superman and Flash for the next Supergirl/Flash crossover. I'm interested to see what kind of threat the heroes will be facing in this year crossover.

THE FLASH
New Big Bad Cicada (American Pie‘s Chris Klein) isn’t too concerned with the Scarlet Speedster – “His endgame isn’t about The Flash. It’s more of a bigger-scale issue,” executive producer Todd Helbing notes – but he will impact Barry & Co. “A big part of the story of this season [is about] the metas, where they got their powers from, and it’s tied into everybody’s journey this year,” the EP shares. “Cicada’s powers are different than DeVoe’s [and] any of the speedsters in the way they affect our team.” Elsewhere, Nora’s presence “starts to have a little strain” on her parents’ relationship. “Iris and Barry become second to Mom and Dad,” Helbing explains. Meanwhile, Cisco is having a difficult time getting over his break-up with Gypsy, Caitlin searches for her Killer Frost origins and Ralph struggles to earn the respect of the city as a superhero.

BONUS SPOILER!: The newest Wells, Sherloque, is “a master detective from a different earth,” Helbing describes, “and he’s come to help [the team] track down Cicada. He’s pretty awesome at his job, and Ralph doesn’t take too kindly to somebody that has skills that may or may not be better than his.” Plus, Sherloque will get a lady love!

RETURN DATE: Tuesday, Oct. 9 at 8/7c (The CW)

I want a three-way race - Superman, Supergirl, and Flash! :)
