At this point I won't be sad if Cavanagh leaves. He's become rather pointless now and I don't want to see any further versions of Wells. He doesn't even seem very credible playing Thawne anymore.

I would be fine with Cavanagh eaving the show. The new Wells that he's playing this season has been incredibly unfunny and this show needs a fresh start so not having a new Well for next season might be a good thing.

You should've known that though! It's only going to be about Iris. She'll be finally able to say she's Team Flash. Then everyone in the Arrowverse will leave and she'll say "I am the Arrowverse". Then eventually she'll say "I am the CW."

...don't we have that already with Iris an expert on everything, being leader, being Flash, Barry can't even save a city from imminent destruction without consulting her first, yada yada yada? Yet you still don't seem to be enjoying the so called obsessed freakouts.

The only Wells I want to see from this point on is the original Earth-1 Wells (who should be alive as far I can work out).

I wouldnt mind some of the team fat getting trimmed alittle with cisco and caitlyn gone. Just wells and barry is more then enough and iris in her office doing reporting stuff giving barry info as he needs it. You really just need one person in star labs helping barry and thats it. If I had it my way next season I would make barry do all this himself obviously.

Based on that article it sounds like the new showrunner has only been around since season 4, so I'm not sure it he'll approach the show similar to these last two. Hopefully this will be a breath of fresh air and bring some new life.

They will probably cancel the show since Arrow is on its way out. Flash would be the longest tenure DC show they have. This season has not been good, Cicada is boring and the daughter can be annoying.

I doubt CW will cancel The Flash as it has more viewers than all of the other DC shows. The Flash will only end once Grant Gustin decides to call it quits.

I gotta start catching up since I've missed the last 5 or 6 episodes lol. Hopefully the new showrunners will revitalise the show as its starting to feel bland. Not having a new Wells for next season is a good start.

I would've liked the answer to be that the doctor had been keeping a dangerous meta in an induced coma.

The Flash show isn't going anywhere anytime soon, of that we can all but guarantee. Legends (because of ratings and cost) or Supergirl (because of Melissa) will be the next to go, but I still figure they've at least got one more season in them.

I've heard Melissa's contract is for 7 seasons so it'll probably be a few years until Supergirl is cancelled

I thought I’d read that her contract was five years? We’ve got her for another year in any case. Legends, or dare I say it, Batwoman will be the next show notbto be renewed once Arrow is wrapped.

Maybe when she was on CBS but everyone reworked contracts once they came to TheCW and I doubt they would give her such a short contract after the success of Arrow/Flash. Batwoman would have to be a major flop to not make it past s1, if it does it will get 4 seasons tops.
