That's incorrectly titled. At no point in that article does it say "Red Death will be the Season 6 villain".

My main hope for season 6 is for it to be something that I actually want to watch.
The same hope that I had for season 5
I miss what this show was and how much I looked forward to it every week.

Im probably not quite as jaded on the show yet as you, its still one of my faves CW puts out but I do agree would love for it to return to the level it was at in season 1 & 2.
Have you heard anything about The Flash’s Caitlin Snow having a romantic interest in Season 6? —Clarice
A romantic partner? I cannot say for sure. But it looks like both Caitlin and Cisco will be making the acquaintance of a fellow scientist, since the CW series — in addition to casting this new baddie — is busy filling the role of a socially awkward, African-American genius in math and science (who specifically is a bit obsessed with aliens and their tech).
It's literally the network's highest rated show. By a substantial margin. Of course it was renewed.I can't believe this show was renewed.
It's the highest rated on the network by any actual industry metric, no inflation necessary.1 million per week isn't high. They inflate the ratings total to "network's highest rated" with DVR streams, torrent downloads and twitter trends, it would die at 1 million otherwise.
I can't believe this show was renewed.
Season 6 table read.
Question: Care to share a Flash scoop? —Gene
Ausiello: It looks like Iris is hiring at the Central City Citizen. Per sources, The Flash is looking for a Latinx actress to play an eager cub reporter with a hankering for social justice.
