The Flash The Flash General Discussion and Speculation Thread - - Part 11

They had a great time doing the EW shoot. There was a video on twitter where they were dancing around.

For Comic-Con, I hope the Arrowverse stars interact with stars from Black Lightning and the DCU streaming network!!

Not just Flash, but I wonder if the rest of the shows will deal with the fallout from Crisis On Infinite Earths.

We could see small-scale crossovers between two shows such as Flash/ Legends, Supergirl/ Batwoman, Supergirl/ Legends, Flash/ Batwoman, or Batwoman/ Legends in post-Crisis.

Both Supermen must fight and fly together like in the comics like Earth-1 and Earth-2 Supermen did.

Also they must hold Supergirl and Wonder Woman in their arms and scream like the Crisis covers.

Why does Gustin have such a silly looking run on the cover of that magazine?

Could always be worse!

Did they say that they are having 45 min episodes this season? Not much difference but 2-3 extra mins could do a lot if used right.

Why does Gustin have such a silly looking run on the cover of that magazine?

You try to fake run while be photographed and see how it turns out lol

It's funny that they have to say that he is returning full time because they barely used him last year.

The Flash Speeds Over to SDCC With New Season 6 Details

The Scarlet Speedster has arrived in San Diego. Ahead of Season 6, The Flashstars Grant Gustin, Candice Patton, Carlos Valdes, Hartley Sawyer, Tom Cavanagh and Danielle Panabaker as well as showrunner Eric Wallace made a pit stop at Comic-Con International to offer new insight on Barry Allen's next challenge and the upcoming "Crisis on Infinite Earths" crossover.

Heroes star Sendhil Ramamurthy will play Bloodwork, Season 6's primary villain. "He will become the most terrifying foe Team Flash has ever faced," Wallace teased. The character is an old acquaintance of Caitlin Snow and his reunion with her goes very wrong.

"The other villains played by the rules," he added. "There's a unique relationship between Dr. Ramsay and Barry Allen."

"We're going to divide [the season] up into graphic novels," Wallace explained. After "Crisis on Infinite Earths," the second half of the season will pick up with a second villain.

"The Monitor shows up in our first episode," Gustin revealed. "I think our connection is our impending demise... They can keep making the show without me."

As to Cisco's new life without his powers, Valdes shared, "Swimmingly. He is loving it. At the start of Season 6, he finds the normality he was aching for."

"He's lending his human powers, since he doesn't have his metahuman powers... his expertise in virtually all things... he's like a hacker... he can do anything," he added.

Iris' journalism career will also take off. "It's been a long time coming," she said. "But Eric is really excited about it. I feel like he loves this character as much as I do... we're finally going to see the Iris West-Allen from the comics... I don't want this show to ever end without seeing the iconic Iris West from the comic book."

"Let's just say her new employees will appear very soon," Wallace teased.

"We'll see a lot more Kamilla in the office," Patton added. "Dibny is down the hall."

Iris and Barry will deal with the loss of Nora separately. "We're both dealing with it in different ways," Gustin explained. "Barry is trying to distract himself... with how to help the city."

"Very early on in the season... this season picks up 10 seconds after the events of the finale," Patton shared. "Maybe they're not dealing with it in the best ways... they really have to grieve as a married couple."

Barry and Iris will fight to survive "Crisis" together. "I think Iris is the person he kind of finds his strength in. She's pretty steadfast," Gustin said. "So I think that's where he finds his strength... it's tough for the both of them to swallow."

"This newest edition of Wells will be a bit of a sensual... a bit of an adventurer, a swashbuckler," Cavanagh revealed.

"This year, we've set it up to see a lot more of Killer Frost, so we'll see a lot more of Killer Frost in STAR Labs," Panabaker shared.

"We're going to pick up and Ralph is going to have investigated that file... on a journey that will eventually lead us to Sue," Sawyer teased. The season will reveal more details about his backstory and where he came from.

"Thawne is in the wind. We love him. Not sure if we'll see him immediately," Wallace said.

"We've got other stories to tell until the shadow returns," Cavanagh pitched in

"As part of 'Crisis on Infinite Earths' crossover, not only will Tom be playing the two character we heard here, he will also be playing Pariah as part of the crossover," Wallace revealed. "He works for the Anti-Monitor."

"In the original miniseries, it's Pariah who is very much integral in releasing the Anti-Multiverse," he continued. "For Tom to play such a pivotal character... it's just going to tear your guts out and make you cry." The reason behind Cavanagh's new role, which will be revealed at the end of the first "graphic novel," will "lead up to a very, very big twist at the end of the Bloodwork case that launches 'Crisis."

"I can feel it getting darker. I can feel us going down that road, for sure," Gustin teased.

"Let's bring Wally West back," Wallace revealed. "Why don't we do it this season... and have Kid Flash and Flash fight one of the greatest Flash villains."

As to Flash's new costume, Gustin said, "We built off of what we did last year and for the first time we redid the cowl entirely... it's definitely the closest it's been to the comics."

"I think the desire to bring the Green Lantern into the Arrowverse is great. Unfortunately, I have no idea when something like that might happen," Wallace explained.

I agree they barely used Cisco as they need to cut down with Iris regardless.

So Tom Cavanagh is playing Pariah for the Crisis, eh? How long will it be until Diggle's wife is revealed to be Harbinger?

Interesting that they’re gonna introduce a new villain after Crisis. They teased doing something like that last year, as well as breaking the season into different arcs, so hopefully they stick to it this time around.

The new showrunner is saying a lot of good stuff as of now.
