In this instance, this isn't a matter of me "interpreting the facts" to fit my argument; it's a matter of the facts themselves MAKING the argument.

There is literally no way you could "merge" the Superverse with the Arrowverse as they currently exist because, as I outlined, Supergirl was specifically designed with a backstory and history ingrained into it that is fundamentally incompatible on nearly every level with what Arrow and The Flash had established (and with what Legends of Tomorrow has now established).

This belief that Supergirl was only set apart from Arrow and The Flash because it was on CBS rather than The CW is a provably and patently false one, and therefore renders the argument that the two series' universes could now be merged without having any effect on them as they currently exist false as well.

Movie Flash could be awesome too, this show doesn't do the spectacle of his powers all that well. That's one thing the movies will no doubt have a upper hand in.

Tbf, you can hardly blame people for believing that it might happen. You saying it cannot and will not happen make it highly likely that it can and will happen, given the fact that you are wrong about almost everything. It is funny how someone who is wrong as often as you are still has the audacity to argue with people in such an obnoxious manner.

Prior to season 2 I would've agreed with you but the show has been such a disaster here lately that I actually think it is quite possible for the movie version to be an improvement.

The Flash movie isn't even made by the same filmmaker, pre-judging it based on a movie that doesn't share its cast, doesn't share its writers, its director, or anything with it is getting so far ahead of yourself it isn't even funny.

I know this is really hard for you to understand, but concept art is just concept art.
The final suit will be what I judge.
My argument won't be going anywhere until then.

I've been thinking, but what if Mirror Master is off limits? WB/DC has always been weird about which characters can or can't be on shows due to films that are being made or might get made. So, maybe this is one of those moments.

With Flashpoint coming I could see that, have the first half be Flashpoint and the repercussions, maybe the time wraiths/Black Flash come after Barry because of what he did? And then the second half could be another villain entirely. I actually really liked that Gotham did that, felt like getting two seasons in one.

It really did help out Gotham a lot. It's one of the issues I've had with these 20+ episode seasons. So, maybe cutting things in half would really help since it's like 2 shorter seasons. Could make for tighter storytelling.

I think I'm with Rorschach2012 on this one - I really have my doubts about the Flash movie. I think Miller is all wrong and fear for the overall look of Barry Allen as well as the suit we will get. But hey, the FX will be better.
