Ausiello: I’m seeing nothing firm (yet) on Mirror Master being introduced, but here’s a curious new breakdown to wrap your noodle around: For Season 3, the CW hit is casting the major recurring character of Barry’s slightly older, slightly geekier contemporary, a guy who is as smart as he is intuitive. As such, this newcomer doesn’t buy Barry’s nice guy routine and sets out to learn what he’s hiding — all while concealing some secrets of his own….

I'm more surprised they haven't done the original Dr. Light yet. They teased Arthur Light in the Arrow episode with Cisco and Caitlin back before this show even started, and now we're two seasons in without even a mention.

Curious who this new character will be. Any comic characters in the CCPD that they haven't done yet?

I've been saying this for a while but I would really really like to see Ralph Dibny introduced on the show. The Ralph/Barry friendship is one of my favorites in the whole DC universe and they could easily make him a detective at the CCPD given his status as the second best detective in the DCU after batman.

Although this sounds like it could possibly be a villain type character, maybe Dr. Alchemy? He worked in forensics with Barry in some incarnations he could be another police scientist at CCPD

In terms of big villains, I would think it's about time to bring the Rogues together. Having the team together would be great : Mirror Master, Captain Cold, Heatwave and Weather Wizard. And bring back Captain Boomerang.

And yes, naturally having something big with Grodd would be absolutely fantastic !

I suppose they could have a mix of Abra Kadabra and the Future blue flash since they're both from the future. Same with Cicada, they would need a entire season to build the sect and this kind of plot allows multiple subplots.
Anyway, lots of possibilities.

Yeah, unfortunately Boomerang is in the same prison as Deathstroke, both literally and metaphorically.

I don't know if its the same metaphorical prison; has there been any word or hint of the movies using Deathstroke? I thought he wasn't getting reused simply because the actor is on bad terms with the showrunners ( and has other obligations ).

Deathstroke is supposed to be in Suicide Squad as well. I don't know if he will be in the final cut of this version, but there were rumors of some big names being attached for his character when the casting was first announced.

Nope, it was Deathstroke and Joe Manganiello was rumored for that role.

Well they ended up casting one of his co-stars from True Blood, and the rumor was that he would be Deathstroke, but then it was later revealed that he would be one of Joker's Henchmen instead. So there hasn't been a Deathstroke cast as of yet, but I think its much more likely that they'd use him in a movie and not on the show. After all, I'm sure most people would rather see Deathstroke vs Batman.

I want to see more speedster villains. None of the other villains are strong enough in the series to go up against The Flash. If they had already setup strong villains they could use them but they made them minor and weak.. Plus non-popular characters allow them more creative freedom

• Zyklon (It would be cool time travel wise, he is a Nazi speedster from the WWII era that would be cool to see)

It's not confirmed. If you check IMDB, there is no character listed, but he does have a credit, so it's possible. Either that, or he's playing someone else that they don't want to reveal before the film.

Well he makes more sense on a Nightwing or Teen Titans show/movie, but if you had a choice between TV Arrow and Movie Batman, I think Batman wins everytime.

Eh. I love Manu and Batman's not hurting for villains that he needs to borrow someone else's arch-nemesis to use as a one-off baddie.

But as I'll say in every "either/or" situation with the TV and movies: "I'd rather have both."
