The Flash The Flash season 3 episode 7 - "Killer Frost"

Sure, Barry messed up majorly...but it's unfair how everybody keeps dumping on him.

It's funny because of how everyone was so for him saving his mom in the season 1 finale (which I have a feeling still happened here). Now they get the consequences.

^ Exactly. And considering they're scientists, you'd think they understand the dangerous nature of altering the time-line in the first place.

Did he get his happy ending? Last time I checked his mom and dad are still dead.

Iris hasn't had much to do this episode, so she gets the prerequisite pep talk.

This is shaping up to be the best episode of the season for me.

Sure, Barry messed up majorly...but it's unfair how everybody keeps dumping on him.

Except it's not. Barry made a selfish decision that they all have to now pay for. They didn't get a say at all and now Cisco is down a sibling and Caitlin is going cray cray. They can dump on him for a lot longer then they have thus far.

He had his happy ending and he gave it up. His mom and dad were already dead before he changed things and Ciscos brother was still alive.

That was Season 1, he didn't ask their permission to go back again. Plus Caitlin already had to pay after S1 with her husband dying.

Well, they shouldn't. Being a friend doesn't mean you dump on the person because of a mistake, even if it affected you. Especially when he's trying to fix it.

Constantly pointing out he screwed up doesn't change anything at all.

This is a pretty intense episode! The feels.

Agreed. Definitely my favorite episode of the season.

And it's looking like my prediction of this Killer Frost being a hero might be right after all.

Whether it's the writing or any input he has on the direction, this is two episodes now that Kevin Smith has dealt with on The Flash that have been huge emotional hitters. And pretty darn good ones at that.

This isn't a mistake. He made the mistake in S1 trying to save his mom and getting told NO by his future self. Now yet another person is dead because of his decision. They will still support Barry but they have every right to scold him till he is blue in the face.

It sucks that Barry lost both his parents but now he has caused others to lose their family members because he couldn't deal and tried to take the easy way out. He erased Sara Diggle from the timeline and who knows what else. He didn't think about anyone but himself.

Yes, he's definitely knocked it out of the park. Hope he directs more.

Looking at this from Julian's perspective, I can't really fault him for being so livid at Barry. It would have wrapped things up in a neat bow if he went along with Barry and wanted to keep Caitlin's secret, but in the real world, most people would be livid about that. Julian wanting Barry to quit, whether unreasonable or not, felt like a natural response rather than him keeping quiet about Caitlin.

Unexpected, but I kind of like that he forced Barry's hand there with that decision, because hey, from the perspective of a normal person, saying keep quiet after you've been attacked by a metahuman, to someone who you know doesn't like metahumans, isn't going to end well.

My fave episode of the season for sure. I just wish Caitlins story wasn't wrapped up till the end of the episode and that she hadn't fully converted back to normal. I hope they get to keep some of her sass and some of the blonde.

Wow, should've seen that one coming. haha

Lol, Joe's an idiot. Multiple scientists tell him not to bother Wally and yet he takes him out of that cocoon anyway. :wall: He's lucky things didn't turn out worse.

And Julian needs to rethink his logic. "You don't deserve to be a CSI because you're covering up for a criminal but I do even though I'm helping you."

I don't understand how Barry's mindgame helped her overcome the fact that her powers were taking over her personality. I mean, if it's a physical problem she's suffering from, she shouldn't just be able to think her way out of it.

 so that's who Julian is

And I have to say that I am soooooooooooooo happy that they let Frost use her powers in various ways instead of E2 Killer Frost who mainly used it for icicles.

Wait, did Barry ever specifically say, and to Caitlin, that Cisco's brother is dead as a result of Flashpoint?
well yes he blamed him self for after cisco asked to go back in time to save cisco's brother. which Jay stopped him from.

but it's as iris said there no saying that car accedent wouldn't have happened anyways to date. and it's very likely what's happening to caitiln mutation wise is from the particle acceleration remember
Cisco and jakson ( the latter being the newother half of fire storm along with that other doctor they found the same episode ) had delayed incubation times and found later.

it just means there a weird activation time.

she's a scientist she should be able to find creative use's for it same for some people with art degree's but more so for them.

Yep, totally thought Joe would handle the situation more competently.

a good lot of us saw it from the star and stated he was too obvious. and left it at that. and other were hoping he wouldn't be. but alot of use knew all along. as I said he was too obvious.

I'm sure you'll hear it from spider Aziz when he comes in to post.

lol I guess that ko deck was for pratice. :woot:

well now that barry's has quite being CSI. yup they really need to reopen star labs to the public and do that thing with Caitlin as I suggested and open that center for parnormal studies as an extension and help those meta's that just need help and don't want to be criminals and seeing she 's a victim and star labs is responsible for creating it only makes sense .

I guess with HR to start with but I really want that real founder of http://dc.wikia.com/wiki/S.T.A.R._Labs << Garrison slate, to show up incase H.R. get his tech stolen and he's exposed which will eventually happen. .
