There's no shot in episode 13 where the face of the cowl is even well lit enough to tell if it's black or really dark red, so no, it doesn't really matter.

Was literally just about to post this shot. It's so creepy in the best way. The cowl is perfect.

So I'm up to the new suit. It definitely looks redder in situations where the old one always looked purple, so I'm guessing the suit itself is an actual different shade.

Apart from that and the mask though, it's obviously very similar, as we knew it would be.

The suit looks great in action. I think they altered the shade of red a bit, makes the black armor pieces less apparent which is a good thing if you ask me. There's wonderful shots in episode 7.

I really like the improved cowl. More form fitting, eliminated the chipmunk cheeks.

They really have to fix what's going on with the fabric and rigid parts of the cowl being misaligned around the ear/sideburns - that triangular gap is ugly and obviously not meant to be there, the fabric should come forward more. Sometimes it's like this and sometimes it's right, and sometimes it's in between. Needs to be attached better.

Were there any changes between the red suit from the end of Season One and the suit seen at the beginning of Season Two?

Okay, I'm about halfway through the season now and I have to say I'm really disappointed in the costumes they've given Matt. Seriously, the costume designer for this show needs to be fired. I know Matt is blind, but can we at least suspend disbelief a bit here so that he doesn't look completely ridiculous?



















I mean, seriously, his Daredevil outfit is the only piece of his wardrobe that looks good. But what's with those shabby button down shirts and suit jackets? All his suits look like they're hand-me-downs from someone of the Willie Loman generation! Foggy dresses pretty well. How the hell can he stand to let his best friend go outside dressed like an insurance salesman from 1948?! You know what I think? I think Matt's awful wardrobe gives us insight into how big of a d**k Foggy actually is. Foggy knows he can't compete with his best bud when it comes to picking up women, so he exploits Matt's weakness in order to make himself look better. What a *****e. I hope he dies by the end of this season.

I don't know why but I really like the huge gloves with the metal knuckles he gets early on. Once everything gets a little more red a few episodes in, I really like the overall costume.

Seriously? Noone around here shares my disdain for Craig's horrible suits in Skyfall and Spectre, but Matt Murdock's suits are worthy of criticism? Matt is supposed to be a poor defence lawyer and he dresses exactly like one does in real life. Bad suits are perfectly in line with the character (which I would probably know better than most). On top of that, they aren't that bad and the style actually has a lot of tailoring pedigree. The button down shirts and soft construction to his suits is perfectly in character, it is the Ivey League sack suit, perfectly in character for a Northeastern American public servant.

I contend that there were not. If there were, they were so minimal as to be invisible. Some people seem to think it fits better or something, but they are effectively identical.

I liked how, on the new cowl, you could see his eyes behind the lenses, and could see him blinking at some points.

^Yeah, I was totally mesmerized by that.

I LOVE the suit! I wasn't sold on it last year, but it has most definitely grown on me and I enjoy seeing it every time it's on screen! The colors, the material, etc are all awesome in my humble opinion. I used to pine for a more traditional look, but I'm quite satisfied with what they've gone with.

Concerning his suits...I can't say I really noticed anything about them, other than that they fit him really well, and fit is king! He's not going to be wearing suits like Bruce Wayne just yet, lol.

LOL, I wasn't being serious. Though I do think they could get him some better shirts. Doesn't have to be Armani, just something a little less shabby looking. But yeah, given that Matt doesn't have a lot of money, it works.
