If this movie bombs and I pray to the cosmic gods it does, how soon do you think Marvel can get the rights back?

Theoretically, it could be quick. Sony didn't waste time washing their hands of Ghost Rider after all. Part of the reason for a premature reversion is a possible 'rent' fee the studio might have to pay while holding the property (I would add I've not seen any confirmation that 'fee' actually does exist, though it would make sense).

Given the current relations between them though it's more likely Fox would make Marvel wait until the time expires sometime around 2022/23, assuming they don't try again.

Disney has made Billions off of Marvel, and stand to make tens of billions in the future, just throw some money at Fox and get the rights back. WTF arleady.
