BvS The Lexosuit, Yay or Nay?

not sure if I want to see it fully in this movie, but maybe a prototype being made and then in the next solo Superman film Lex can wear it and we finally get to see Superman & Luthor duke it out on screen :D

It would be quite a stretch, given Eisenberg's previous roles, to see him in physical combat. I get the feeling it wouldn't look quite right. In zombieland he did shoot a few zombies, but mostly ran away.

yeah, I have to agree that because he's obviously not intended to be physically imposing, it doesn't make sense to have him even bother to
try and duke it out with supes.

Now, somebody else in the lexosuit, or perhaps a robot controlled by lex via some kind of virtual reality/remote rig.....maybe ?

cheers.

I can't see how an armored armor would work on live action. And I don't even like sarcasm.

How can't you see it? I think they could pull it off quite well, considering todays cgi has come so far I think it'd be quite convincing.

I'm not even sure what you mean by any of this. I feel like I need an ECHOSTATION to English translation.

I think the LexoSuit should only be used as a last resort after all the other option is no longer available...... I think it will interesting if the suit is made throughout the movie until the end where it finally finished and can be used in battle

I didn't know if I can do it neither... hmmm.

I believe what I meant is that an armor like those Lex uses can easily be translated into live action as we can see in the three Iron Man films. It will depend though is how Lex is portrayed in the films, it has to make sense for him to use/build such a piece of technology. I also criticize people who said things like "it's too silly". After GotG that makes no sense anymore.

An exo suit for lex would be received pretty well I'd imagine. I don't think the GA would shoot down the idea.

If another actor was playing Lex, I would be okay with it. Right now, though, Jesse Eisenberg doesn't look like he'll embody the physical aspect of the role that well. He's too baby-faced to be credible in the armored suit imo.

And in all honesty, I don't want the film to have another brawl with the main villain. We got that in Man of Steel already. I'd rather have Lex pull the strings, and if there has to be a physical fight, have Superman be weakened by Kryptonite or something and the two briefly duke it out before Supes wins.

Oh it could work in live-action, of course it can.

It just can't work on little Jesse Eisenberg. I would laugh my ass off so hard if i saw Jesse in that Lex suit, i'd probably have to leave the theater and miss the rest of the movie.

I think that they could make it work on Jesse Eisenburg. And I think it would be interesting if Luthor designs the suits as military technology for ARGUS, then builds an even more advanced one for himself.

Big bump seeing as people are talking about it.

I'd like to see a battlesuit in the future maybe for Justice League or the solo sequel.

And good one. You reminded me to vote "nay".

Slow news day would be my guess. :woot:
It turned up in conversation among other things.

Yes, I believe the burning mathmatical question was: "how many cakes would the battlesuit dispense? 4 sets of 10 cakes or 10 sets of 4 cakes?" The answer of course, is neither. Lex Luthor wouldn't give away 40 cakes; he would steal them. ;)

Fixed. :woot: But that's a good looking suit. Even Jesse could look good in it.

I would love to see the Exo Suite but not just yet. I don't want to see Lex as the main villain for now. I think keeping him as the villain behind the scene is a better option.

I don't think we should see Lex wearing the suit in this movie, but showing it in development would be cool, for him to wear in a future Superman/JL sequel.
