Are we forgetting rock music comes from Black people?
Please.

It was created by a white guy at a high school dance in California.

I just heard about "Strolling"...I gotta check it out.
Subscribed. I like her already.I once read the funniest response to some White girl expressing her want of a mixed baby. Probably too much for this site. So, I'll just use this...

No one can tell me adele isn't influenced by black music
You're logic doesn't make much sense.Well, that's your opinion. If you borrow ultimately you have to pay something
white people that do stuff black people are known for excelling at will always get more attention. Sometimes it's a gimmick, sometimes they were just influenced or grew up around it. Like Eminem, he pretty much was raised in the hood, so he gets a pass. Right now the only people doing the best American r&b are white brits ironically.

I haven't seen many homages that you speak of where she admitted this. If she did fine. I've been a fan of Adele when she made chasing pavements. I went to see her perform. Now I couldn't even afford a ticket to her concert. How about recognizing those before her now that's she no1. I just don't understand why you can't do a song with a hip hop artist the music that spawned what she was inspired by. It's not a big deal
there is a lot of songs I hear on the radio that on first listen you'd think is a black chick but in reality is a blonde, blue eyed chick from the UK, haha.
