That fact that they will not stay smashed also pisses him off to no end.

LMAO I keep forgetting that the only difference between Hulk fans and Batman fans is that Batman fans have enjoyed substantial success in the movie industry.

Shine on, you crazy green diamonds.

Some of us here are just voicing our opinions and likes or dislikes as to where we think the Hulk franchise has gone right and wrong.

Why do you feel you have to be disrespectful. Did I hurt your feelings long ago and you haven't forgotten it or something (I wouldn't put it past me)? Do you have mental issues maybe? How old are you...no serious? I need to know what level to deal with you on.

All Hulk fans don't agree on every aspect of the character, but we don't feel we have to be-little each other when we do. Why do you feel you have to? Does it make you feel better as a person? Are YOOUUU threatened by the possibility of a successful Hulk film? What does Batman have to do with anything said in these Hulk threads?

Hell, personally I enjoyed the Batman films and wish that every writer and director took note of how to make the ludicrous appeal to the masses. After years of watching The Nolan Batman film, I admit that they are the best put together comic films and two of the best films in general. But what does that have to do with 'Hulk' in Avengers?

All I had issue with was the blanket statement that YOUR personal ideal version of the Hulk was the one everyone prefers, and the rather idiotic idea that Marvel doesn't know how to handle it's own character. You guys are the ones that get ******** and defensive over anything remotely negative said about the character, as usual. Not me.

Further more, you are the one bringing up 'mental issues' and **** like that. And I'm the uncivil one? Classy, but not totally unexpected considering the source.

Now, is this the 'Hulk in Avengers' thread, or the "Boo hoo Whiskey Tango said things we don't like (but are true!) about our favorite sooper hero and we're gonna pout about it" thread?

Not for nothing ...since when has voicing MY opinion on a message board been an insult to intelligent folks who have opinions and minds of their own?...at least most of us do...some are in question at the moment. What threatens you about my posts so much...tell me? :yay: You're the one who started it, with the acting defensive about MY post.

I bring up mental issues because I think you're crazy...to get defensive about my views on the Hulk movies, especially since you just jumped in the middle of the posting and added NO input...only cries and pleas and then you started talk CRAZY about Batman stuff that really had nothing to do with NOTHING in any of the previous posts. That's why I think you're a mental case...Are you? By the way what did Batman's success have to do with the thread?

No one's crying about who doesn't agree with them. It's not that we don't like others opinions...with you, you've said and added NOTHING relevant to this thread.. just make your points relevant is all.

Hey I'm a good sport...I LOVE to play...I'll officially bring you in...What...do...you...like about the voiceless, opinion-less, inarticulate Hulk? Since this is what my beef is about with Marvel Studio's Hulk and YOUR'S being the opposing views of mine? :cwink:

I feel like the 50 cal. Is like shooting us with a paintball gun. Its gonna sting like a *****. Maybe cause some surface damage to the skin. But it is never actually gonna do any real damage.

I'd buy that for a dollar.

You bring up mental issues because you chose the low road. Congratulations, hypocrite.

I never insulted your opinion. I said an 80 year old Banner was a bad idea. Before that, I wondered which version of the Hulk you felt was so superior, and was met with hostility from you and others. That's when I compared you to Batfans. I was right, and you continue to prove it.

As for the rest, I never said which version of Hulk I like best, and you're currently too busy with your snotty tone, so piss off.

Oh woah is me Gamma Ra's the bad guy here...look everyone ...LOOK.

No, I was dead serious, and you've still haven't dealt with any of my questions.

You haven't insulted my opinion? (not that I care one bit) You bring up irrelevant stuff about Batman's success thinking your childish antics will piss off these classless Hulk fans ...here's you insults -

Watch who you throw stones at...some of us like rock fights. :yay:

Keep diggin yourself deeper, mate. You and I are done here.

So, for those of you without a stick up their ass, who prefer the savage version of Hulk (apparently the one preferred by 30 out of 30 Helens) - how do you propose this Hulk interact with the rest of the Avengers aside from being an opponent? Didn't this same character spend the last 5 decades getting pissed at everyone who looked at him funny? That doesn't sound like it would make for a very trustworthy teammate.

I've been Diggin?!? Where?!? Stick up my A$$?!?!?!

L-M-A-O!!!...more of nothing.

the rather idiotic idea that Marvel doesn't know how to handle it's own character.

I think it rather idiotic that first, they thought it was necessary to include Starfish, Jellyfish, nano-meds and the kitchen sink in order to create the Hulk, to make it more believable. And then they thought it was necessary to have him grow when he gets madded to show he's getting stronger. I thought it was rather MORONIC to turn his dad into The Absoring Zzzax Man.

I think it's rather idiotic that they kind a, almost, in a round about way loosely re-booted, but could be considered sequel, in a way, The Hulk and made it closer to the TV show than "their" comic. I think it's rather idiotic that they thought is was necessary to change the Abomination, and not call him that because it sounds silly, into a walking Turd Bone Man.

I think it's rather idiotic that they didn't find it necessary to promote their property to, you know, kind a give it a chance at the box office.

I think it's rather idiotic that the cut the crap out of the movie that the director wanted to present because they didn't want it to be "deep" like the first one, that was some sort of Greek Tragedy that put people into a coma.

No I don't think the dolts who are handling The Hulk have a clue what they're doing. Their track record speaks for its self.

Speaking of pot to kettle...

Spoken like someone who knows *of* the character, but doesn't know the character.

How about instead of grouping all Hulk fans together and making a blanket generalization insulting all of them and then being the four trillionth guy to use the word, "********", why don't you just reply to my post? Or, I can take your silence as total and complete agreement:

And back on topic

http://blog.cleveland.com/metro/2011/05/the_hulk_the_strongest_one_the.html

possible movie plot:

"He had a pivotal role in the creation of The Avengers. Thor's evil half-brother Loki tricked Thor into believing The Hulk was on a murderous rampage. Thor went after him and was aided by the other new superheroes in the Marvel universe: Iron Man, Ant-Man and The Wasp."

The title of the article sounds promising.

I'm not sure if that's the plot though. In the article they also stated Bruce Banner got tricked into running towards the "gamma radiation" which sounds more like his gamma bomb origin from the comics, than his origin from television or the theatrical releases.

True Gamma, but to me in coincides with all the Loki-Hulk puppet rumors. Not that Loki is controlling Hulk but making Hulk think he is being attacked by Thor and causes him to do damage to a small town or major city. Then Loki can trick Thor into going after him and the battle to end all battles begins.

well at the time they hired an academy award winning director, clearly they wanted to make the movie a big dramatic serious film, they can't be blamed for having faith in Ang lee ( who at the time was held in high regard)

All things considered, I really hope they go with the Loki origin. With Thor's movie public, Loki will not have to be introduced nor his motives and antics left questionable. So it's a real good chance they'll go that route.

Title: "Meet The Hulk, the Strongest Avenger"

Woo hoo! That was like verbal Viagra! I like where this is going! Giggity!

I'm so excited...I just called up my ex and told her I'd pay her next months rent. It makes me feel...so SILLY.

I don't think it's Marve l doesn't care about Hulk, clearly they do, it's that they really don't get the appeal of the character. I think the problem with Ang's Hulk was they took too many liberties with the character and as for the character in general, they keep trying to force the nostalgia of the television show in with the classic comics, but the blend has not been working.

I have just now of late been able to free myself up and catch up on my Hulk-ness. I saw at IMDb and also in the article Atomicchuck posted above, Lou Ferrigno will be voicing Hulk.

Has it been stated which Hulk will it be?

Due to the animate TAEMHs, most believe it will be that Hulk, but near the end of TIH movie, he seemed more Savage with the "HULK SMASH" and "Bet-ty" which was cool. So, has it been stated which Hulk we will get?

How should it be done? Should there be a progression of intellect or more of a fluctuation depending on mood?

Should Mark do the initial voicing and Lou over dubs?

Should Hulk sound some what Bannerish or completely his own as far as rhythmic speaking?

They can be blamed for hiring an art-house director when they didn't want an art-house film (and then marketed it like a popcorn summer blockbuster).
And you can make a big, dramatic, serious film without starfish, jellyfish, nano-meds, and the kitchen sink, and changing tons of stuff (which was Cracker Jack's point).

I think it's really hard to tell a "definative" Hulk story, especially when you look at the fact the character is constantly changing and has so many different stories;one minute he's fighting Ross and the army, the next he's in the future/different dimension/alien planet/his own mindscape, etc can be hard to translate that into a single film

I seriously can't think of anything cooler than the guys battling the Hulk for a little while. Not one thing.
