Does the MCU Hulk eat people?

Yeah he ate a Skrull in the first storyline, I think it was a Skrull; and after that I was DONE. I see people blaming Loeb for the failure of the Ultimateverse. It started off as trash from the beginning with Millar's re-imagining of the characters.

Oh gosh, I should've realized Marvel Cinematic Universe and Marvel Comics Ultimates have the same initials! I was trying to have the notion of Marvel Studios adapting the Ultimate Hulk as opposed to the 616 Hulk backfire because the movie's Hulk was nothing like the Ultimates aside from the notion of recreating Captain America.

I didn't get the MCU meaning either. What ever the meaning, The Hulk should not eat people.........................Unless they're deep fried first and really really nasty. :cwink:

I agree, it's a fine line. He has to be able to talk but not as if he has a box of rock in his head. But then again not like Banner either.

Like most of the Hulk fans that's been around for years on these boards, our first Hulk outside of television was the Savage, whom I hold dear. But years of watching writers screw him up in the comics leaves me with no faith that Marvel would know how to handle him.

Savage could really be the biggest draw if Marvel knew how to handle him and knew exactly what it is that we the die-hard Hulk fans see in the Savage Hulk. But I think they are clueless about it.

It's just my opinion that Gravage is much easier...not to mess up. If done right we may see a little Savage emerge from the Gravage incarnation. It could be a win-win scenario.

I agree with this 100%.

100% agree

Re. Hulk's pain threshold.
I think it's obvious that bullets/weapons/punches would cause him pain. As pain would trigger anger and anger makes him stronger. If he does not experience pain proportionate to the attack how would he get angrier.

There are many ways to make Hulk angry without physically harming him. As I stated above, I myself don't want to watch an impervious to everything character, as I truly believe that that's the point where the average movie goer loses interest and connection with them. I loved the way the bullets annoyed the Hulk and especially get a kick out of him swatting at them while running toward the army.

This is why an intelligent Hulk is a necessity, because all it would take to piss him off, is to do is say something foolish to him like..."Give up Hulk. Don't make us force you." ...It's guaranteed all hell...would break loose!!!

IMO, Abomination bought Hulk back to 'human' levels

Of course there are, but my point is if he is impervious to pain; physical attacks would not enrage him.

BTW I agree with a rudimentary intelligent Hulk, but as he becomes more enraged, his intellect suffers. If enraged sufficiently he can become "mindless", however his rage still remains focussed on the source, once that source is defeated, and lacking any further stimuli his berserker rage quickly subsides. If the threat does not escalate his rage, Hulk may retain his baseline intelligence in battle.

The fact that he's continuing to get attacked makes him angrier.

I've gotten bit by spiders, flies, and mosquitos and not realized it. Yet my actual skin was pierced and blood (in some cases) was drawn.
The pain of their bite didn't make me angry--it was the fact that these things were bothering me ("attacking" me/not leaving me alone) that made me angry.

I'm not saying the Hulk doesn't feel pain. If Thor or Juggernaut hits the Hulk, it hurts! But I think that something that doesn't even break his skin isn't "painful". Annoying, yes...but I'm not sure a human's bullets would cause him pain. Iron Man could probably cook something up to hurt him, but standard machine gun fire, I don't see hurting him. Just my opinion, of course.

Ever been lying on a beach and bitten by a Green Head or Horsefly, if not, believe me that hurts!:cmad:, and at least on my part elicits an immediate and real, "HULK SMASH!", response.

Nowadays a lot of times Hulk gets pissed is due to being verbally set off, not always by just someone attacking him. If he even thinks you're insulting him or trying to lord over him, it's a red flag.

ruffalos picture where he, ...lets say.... looks anrgy, was the reference for this:-)

I disagreed. Don't annoying things enrage you whether they break skin or not? Constant pestering?

As I stated before, I don't mind Hulk feeling pain or getting hurt, my problem is with what causes it. I didn't like the 50 caliber bullets scarring him, but I enjoyed the Stark weapon the Army used slowing him down. This is what I want to see more of advance weaponry and other unconventional means when attacking Hulk. Some imagination is all I ask.

Exactly terry. This is why I loathe this fake Hulk that's been seen on screen.

He looks incredibly constipated not angry, as if he's having real trouble taking a Hulk-sized dump.

That fact that they will not stay smashed also pisses him off to no end.

LMAO I keep forgetting that the only difference between Hulk fans and Batman fans is that Batman fans have enjoyed substantial success in the movie industry.

Shine on, you crazy green diamonds.

LMAO I keep forgetting that Whiskey Tango hasn't enjoyed substantial success in the civility category.

I think Hulk should talk, I always kind of imagined him as having a brain like a more primitive hominid. So I do want the same savage, primitive, but audible Hulk.

I feel like the 50 cal. Is like shooting us with a paintball gun. Its gonna sting like a *****. Maybe cause some surface damage to the skin. But it is never actually gonna do any real damage.

True. But he'd only be about 60 and that's the new 40. isn't it?

Then people would have to get past the "They don't test nukes anymore" thing.

Actually in order for the gamma explosion spawned Hulk all the writers would have to do is go the route of Tony Stark and have Banner kidnapped by terrorist in Nevada and they force him to build a gamma bomb. You still get the the true Hulk birth and he can still save a wandering Rick Jones.
