Yeah, this movie will kick ass , i'm sure i just pray for the thrid time the Hulk finally gets the treatment he deserves; all things now point to that not being the case...

What? Hulk didn't look amazing?!! I got goosebumps during his money shot. Smart move on Marvel/Disney for holding back on showing the Hulk before the trailer came out. So glad the first time we saw him wasn't on the dismal photoshopped EW cover.

If everything else in the trailer was crap (it wasn't), then that final shot of Ruffalo transforming followed by Hulk roaring would've stuck with me long after.

Also, I know it's people's opinions and all, but here's mine: every time someone b****** about Ed Norton not being in The Avengers, Hulk smashes an angel. I liked Norton, but it's not like Norton was replaced by Channing Tatum. Mark Ruffalo is an accomplished, Oscar-nominated actor. And judging by the trailer, he's playing the meek, uber-geeky Bruce Banner that'll really emphasize the contrast between him and the monster.

I agree, he just looks way to much like Ruffalo. In fact he looks like Ruffalo on steriods! If this is the Hulks actaul face and not just a mid transformation shot, then they've incorporate way more Dr. Banner into the Hulk's final look than they did with Bana or Norton.

I'll be honest, though. As much as I watch TIH, all the Hulks look the same to me for the most part. Don't flame me, LOL!

Ang lee's Hulk and TIH look much different to me. This one looks just like TIH with some Ruffalo thrown in.

Well in one of the early interviews with Ruffalo, he said that the HULK looks exactly like him. Shouldn't the HULK look like Banner? I mean, he is only an extension of Banner, only bigger, greener and a slight attitude. t:

If that's what floats your boat, sure. I always thought Hulk shouldn't look too much like Banner. The first concept art for TIH was the perfect look for Hulk. The fact that Angs Hulk looked so much like Eric Bana was what alot of ppl had gripes with, as did i.

The rendering looks great; it's the face i have an issue with, but like i said, maybe that shot is a mid transformation shot.

Chewy....thank you soo much for posting this. I love the moment of Hulk. God I think this is actually going to be the best Hulk we've ever seen in live action. He looks absolutely perfect in my eyes so far.

I really want to see now how tall he is compared to everyone else.

It seems like the Hulk is taking the backseat in this movie.
They're barely marketing him at all. It's like he wasn't even supposed to be in the movie.
The advertising in stores doesn't even have him involved, especially toy stores.
This is mainly being sold as an Iron Man/Thor/Captain America movie.
I don't get it. If you're going to have Hulk in the movie, do it right.
This is by far the biggest thing they screwed up on. They should've paid Edward Norton a billion dollars to come back (which they certainly have).

Even though he had only one line in the trailer, Ruffalo is just so unassuming to me. He's too meager and mouse-like. His vocal inflection reminds me of the kid in the back that nobody notices. I miss Norton.

I didn't comment on Hulk in my post on the trailer as I don't feel there is a lot to say yet given we only saw a quick head shot as expected. I thought the way they used him as the final shot coming off of Stark's funny line was a great way to end the trailer and Hulk's face looks good to me.

Hulk is not featured heavily in the trailers because he is entirely CGI and it isn't finished.

Literally every piece of merchandising has Hulk on it. Some of it has Hulk instead of Thor as the third piece of the tripod.

I like the way The Hulk looks. This soon in post production as well. He will look amazing by the time the movie comes out.

I think Hulk will be in there for pretty much 75% of the action sequences. But Ruffalo only looks like he is in a few scenes so far.

I guess I thought that Banner should be unassuming, so as far as I'm concerned, Ruffalo nailed it. I really want to see Bruce Banner as a skilled scientist in a movie. That's something I did think was missing from Ang Lee's Hulk and TIH, even though I really, really loved TIH far more than the first version. That's just me though.

There's simply not enough, at least for me, to draw any sort of conclusion in terms of how the Hulk looks. It does seem that Banner isn't in this as much as we might have thought however, relegating him even further as just some dude we're waiting to transform, not caring or worrying about him as an individual in his own right. Hope I'm wrong...
